Restaurant is excellent and restaurant staff is very kind and friendly ….but…Do not stay at the Motel to sleep. The room we booked had a shower that was partially broken and not just since our arrival. Maintenance hadn’t been done for a long time, room was dusty, shower doors didn’t close and had mold and water did not drain so within two minutes the room floor was flooded.||Since this happened Sunday evening it could not be repaired and we got a different room…but it had not been used or cleaned in ages, I have never seen so much dirt and dust in any hotel/motel room. see photos.||also the outside balconies are cute but since lights stay on all night they attract tons of insects and spiders and apparently never get a cleaning either. also makes it impossible to open the windows during hot night as no mosquito screens are installed.||The room also had nice boxing memorabilia…covered in years of dust and cobwebs everywhere and with rusty screws sticking out just laying around, just waiting for someone to get hurt.||one night lamp didn’t work, the other was plugged into the only electricity socked, so you could either charge your phone or get a night lamp…totally covered in dust too||the shower door in this room also didn’t close well but water only reached the toilet didn’t se the whole room under water.||When I mentioned all this at check out (we would have left and searched for a different stay had I not been injured) the lady first said she’d give us a discount and took the price of two breakfasts off the total, then told us she’d done that because the second room we had been moved to had been an upgrade and was more expensive but since we had not asked for it she took the extra charge off.||whatever. Wouldn’t go back and stay there if it was free.||Since we had been moved to he first floor, no elevator, stairs only and between the checkout lady doing the math three times and me hobbling around with crutches we where in the room at 11:06 to get our bags and I got yelled at by he cleaning staff that check out was at 11:00, if we where planning to finally leave as they wanted to finish up and go home. side note: during 3 days stay we never got a...

Leider muss ich meine Bewertung ändern. Der zweite Besuch war ganz anders als der erste. Angefangen vom Essen, bis hin zum Service. Wir waren mit 4 Erwachsenen und einem Kleinkind dort. In Erinnerung an unseren letzten Besuch, haben wir erneut Burger bestellt. Die Größe der burger ist um 25% geschrumpft, der Preis dafür um 25% gestiegen. Das Fleisch war leider nicht nur trocken, sondern auch geschmacklich alt, grau und ungenießbar. Die Pommes waren Knochenmark und alt. Der Ketchup, sowie die anderen Saucen kamen in essbaren schalen und hatten alle schon Haut. Die "Bowle" war nicht mehr als ein Salatteller mit zwei Scheiben gurken. Der Couscous, welcher zur Bowle gehörte (laut Speisekarte) wurde separat berechnet, weil wir diesen auf einem getrennten Teller haben wollten und nicht wie auf der speisekarte mit 2eur, sondern mit 5eur. Die Begründung hierfür: es ist ja auch mehr, als in einer üblichen Bowle. Die Getränke, Bier, Cola zero waren warm, sprudelwasser abgestanden. Keine unserer Reklamationen wurde auch nur im Ansatz ernst genommen oder geändert. Wir mussten ewig warten, bis wir bedient wurden und das, obwohl der Laden leer war.... zum bezahlen mussten wir dann wieder ca. 1std warten. Als es dann ans bezahlen ging, traf uns fast der schlag: Alles in allem haben wir für 5 ungenießbare Mahlzeiten mehr als 130eur gelatzt, trotz Beschwerden und zurückgegangenen Essen. Das war unser letzter Besuch. Roadstop, ihr habt mächtig nachgelassen und die Preise gesalzen angezogen. Das hat schon nichts mehr mit Inflation zu tun, sondern einfach nur mit Dreistigkeit. Vorallem, wenn man die Qualität der Speisen bewertet...

Tolles Ambiente, toller Service, tolles Essen... Road Stop Neandertal verdient seine 5 Sterne alle mal. Jeder Wunsch wurde umgesetzt, der Service war freundlich und hat jeden Scherz aufgenommen und mitgemacht.

Wir waren 6 Erwachsene und 1 Baby. 7 verschiedene Wünsche wurden entsprechend umgesetzt, sodass wir alle rundum zufrieden und satt das Lokal verlassen haben. Das Essen war frisch, das Fleisch von hoher Qualität, die Beilagen hervorragend, der Salat knackig.

Leider mussten wir am Nachbartisch miterleben, wie ein Gast sich über das Essen beschwerte: Grund der Beschwerde war ein Steak, welches nicht "medium" war (Steak medium bestellt / Steak war definitiv medium, das konnte man sogar von unserem Tisch aus sehen). Hier hat der Service den Beschwerdevorwurf samt Fleisch an die Küche weiter gegeben. Gerechtfertigterweise kam der Restaurantleiter und fragte, was mit dem Essen nicht stimmen würde. Die Gäste haben hierauf herablassend reagiert und den Restaurantleiter beleidigt. Sollten sie also eine entsprechende Bewertung lesen, ignorieren sie diese bitte.

Ich möchte noch mal anmerken, daß wir 7 verschiedene Speisen und Getränke hatten, alle Gerichte entsprachen den "Richtlinien", selbst wenn dem nicht so gewesen wäre, hätte die Küche ohne Gemecker ein neues Gericht zubereitet. Es kann immer mal passieren, dass in der Hektik etwas nicht entsprechend ist, hier hat man aber dann die Möglichkeit dies mitzuteilen, wenn aber alles gut ist und wie bestellt serviert wird, dann sollte man nicht profit rausschlagen wollen um den Preis zu drücken. Vorallem sollte man dann nicht lauthals kundtun, warum man sich über gutes Essen beschwert.
