Raststätte Am Wildbach — Restaurant in Mildenau

We have visited this small restaurant many times. This area of the "Erzgebirge" features fresh trout (German = "Die Forelle") which both populate the local small rivers and, in the case of Raststätte am Wildbach, are sourced from a trout farm, located just steps from the restaurant. Patrons can arrive on foot, by car - or - when it is operating, via Preßnitztalbahn, a tourist railway which operates steam-powered narrow gauge trains between Jöhstadt and Steinbach....

What a beautifully hidden gem to find tucked away between the river and the forest. After riding our bikes through the mountains for several days it was a delight to find Wildbach and meet Dave. Dave's friendlyness, wholesome food and drink, hospitality and openness was nourishment for our weary...

Waren heute bzgl eines Geburtstages dort.

Von außen und innen eher kleiner aber gemütlich. Im Sommer kann die Terrasse mit tollem Ausblick genutzt werden.

Großer, großer Pluspunkt, dass die Kids alle zur gleichen Zeit und vorallem als Erstes ihr Essen bekommen haben. Des Weiteren gibt es auch Mal - und Lesebücher für die Kids.

Essen war fantastisch. Regional, frisch und reichhaltig. Preis/ Leistung komplett angemessen. Gastwirt bietet auch Essen aus eigener Herstellung an. Des Weiteren kann auch Wildwurst etc für kleines Geld erworben werden.

WC klein aber sauber.

Ein wirklicher Geheimtipp im Erzgebirge.

Gastwirt und seine Frau sehr, sehr nett.

Leider sind die Negativbewertung nicht nachvollziehbar.

Freuen uns auf ein baldiges Wiedersehen. Macht...
