Kanal 33 Pension - Café - Biergarten — Restaurant in Mitteldithmarschen

We stayed here for 2 nights when hiking the Nord-Ostsee-Wanderweg, and we just loved it. These accomodations must be some of the best along the NOK. We stayed in a "stelzenhaus" overlooking the river, and it was so cozy and nice. The cabin was very spacious and with nice interior. The kitchen had everything we needed, and so did the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and so was the couch. The padio with the strandkorb was a very nice place to sit and enjoy a drink after the hike. It is quite an amazing site to see the big ships sail by on the kanal. The owner of the place was very welcoming and attentive, and she helped us on the spot when the heating in our cabin failed. We brought our own food, but had pizza from the restaurant one night. It was okay, but nothing special. |We would recommend this place anytime, and we would love to come back...

this is a excellent small hotel, stunning rooms and bathrooms, and stunning location, we arrived on the evening of a televised football match, the beer garden was busy but it was a lovely atmosphere, with lovely staff, great quality breakfast and off road parking, could not have been better and really is great value for money, if you want a lovely stop over on driving through to denmark, or are cycling in the area this is a must I can say in terms of value and cleanliness perhaps one of the best we have stayed in in mainland europe, finally very...
