Zur Tanne — Restaurant in Muldenhammer

This family-owned restaurant clean and very friendly. One is put at ease whether wishing to be left with little attendance or much. The chefs will prepare traditional German foods or strive to please as best they can. Being Celiac I was fearful, but the head chef is VERY knowledgeable about cooking Gluten-Free. The kitchen is not free of gluten but they will advise about meals which are inherently gluten free or can be prepared in a gluten-free method.

They are friendly to families with children. There is a full bar, but I drink very few alcoholic beverages. We have stayed in their pension for several nights. So, we have eaten several lunches and dinners.

Manchmal ist das Gute ziemlich unscheinbar. Wir waren jedenfalls sehr positiv überrascht.

Der erste Eindruck war eine Art Zeitreise. Erinnerte mich das Interieur doch stark an die Zeit kurz nach der Wende.

Es war aber alles sehr sauber, aufgeräumt und der Gastraum durch die vielen Fenster hell und freundlich. Halt irgendwie urig.

Die Bedienung war ebenfalls sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Karte bietet für jeden etwas. Für uns als Kuhmilch-Allergiker besonders hervorzuheben, waren die veganen Gerichte. So erspart man sich unangenehme Fragerei nach Zutaten und Zubereitungsarten.

Ich hatte die veganen roten Linsen mit Soja-Geschnetzeltem und Kartoffelrösti. Das war echt gut und seit langem mal ein richtiges veganes Essen und nicht nur so eine Alibi-Geschichte. Auch alle anderen Gerichte waren sehr schmackhaft.

Die Preise waren absolut in Ordnung. Für uns gefühlt schon fast ein wenig zu niedrig.

Insgesamt also eine echte Empfehlung....
