Berggasthof Dreisessel — Restaurant in Neureichenau

Sadly one star. We are not difficult customers, but first the apple juice of our child was forgotten. No biggie. Then there was some kind of gunk in the coffee. When we showed this, the reaction was only: ohhh… and the waitress took the coffee with her. That was it. No excuses, no new coffee AND it was still on the bill. Mind you; it was not very busy.

Then to make it even worse, we didn’t had enough euro’s to pay cash (and with the card is not possible), we payed with Czech krones but a transfer fee of €5 (on a bill of €27) was added.

When we protested they only took away the coffee of the bill (but reluctantly).

Very unprofessional. Would not recommend which is a shame because the location is special and the cake...

we stopped at the place just for a drink and coffee and stayed due to the wonderful service and perfect dishes. The apple Strudel was amazing, the soups great, but the chantarelle Strudel was a miracle. Even our friend, an adult who always avoided mushrooms tasted it and loved it. Most of the dishes we wouldn't order if it was not for the great service with multi-lingual host. Nach einer längeren Wanderungen sind wir in diesem Berggasthof eingekehrt. Der Hunger war schon groß. Eingangs wurden wir forsch von der rothaarigen Bedienung an einen Platz verwiesen, den wir eigentlich nicht gewählt hätten, aber gut. Wir waren hungrig. Dann wurden wir 30 min ignoriert bis dann doch eine Bedienung (kurze dunkle Haare) unsere Bestellung aufnahm. Wir bestellten 2 antialkoholische Getränke, 2 Suppen, 2 Hauptspeisen, Ketchup, 1 Beilagensalat. Die Getränke und die Suppen kamen relativ zeitnah. Die Hauptspeisen auch, jedoch ohne Ketchup und ohne Beilagensalat. Eine Bedienung, die wir darauf angesprochen haben hat uns forsch an ihre Kollegin verwiesen, eine hat gegrantelt und dann doch noch einen Salat gebracht (meine Hauptspeise war schon zur Hälfte aufgegessen), das Ketchup kam gar nicht. Abgesehen von den 2 sehr unfreundlichen Bedienungen (rote und blonde Haare) war die Bedienung mit den kurzen dunklen Haaren relativ freundlich beim Abkassieren. Wir haben sie extra noch darauf hingewiesen, dass wir kein Ketchup erhalten haben und sie das also nicht verrechnen soll. Was soll ich sagen, es stand dann trotzdem auf der Rechnung und wir mussten es bezahlen. Es geht nicht um den Betrag sondern um das Prinzip. Geht gar nicht so was. Von den österreichischen Almhütten sind wir außerdem ganz was anderes gewohnt in Sachen...
