Restaurant Thai Chili — Restaurant in Niedernhausen

Parking is not really nice but okay. Must looking for the right entrance because there are more companies at the address. First impression was good. There where 2 people eating. So we where 3 & 4. The lady was friendly but did not look professional in her normal trouser and purple shirt. Did not say much but just enough to get her information. With our bad German language (we are from the netherlands) I think she can hear we are not from Germany but she did not take extra time for some information we get the Menu card and we can say the numbers to order. The first food was pretty taste very good and looks tasteful. But before we eat it the head food comes. So we have 4 plates for us 2. The head food was very good taste delicious really good! Maybe a little to much paprika but that is my personal taste. After eating and drinking I like to pay, by card, I think nothing abnormally but I can't pay by card (just like you pay ik the supermarket, not a credit card) but there was a Bankomat on the edge. (really 1 meter next to the restaurant but not registered at Google maps 🤔) I try 3 times but came no money. So my partner also try but also no money. I asked if I can pay by Internet or PayPal but nothing was possible. She send us to the Aldi at the other side of the road. You can pin some money when you buy something. So take a bottle of cola but ... You need to buy a minimal from 10€ so back the shop in and buy some more. After Al that sh*t and one person waiting for more than 20 minutes we can pay. But in that time no extra drink or friendly words to the waiting person. After paying we looked at all the communication from this restaurant. We did not see somewhere communication that you cannot pay by a card. So the food was okay but to fast after each other and the service was really bad. Disappointed because I think it can be good if you only look to the good food but u come in a restaurant for service, help and easy left the building. So communicate it with you customers BEFORE they come in or order and give them e bit service than I think it is a 5 stars. Ow an extra thing: every Mittarbeiter smokes and walk after smoking next to the front door with their smoking smell ...

Food is tasty, cooking is fast, we got it to go, and the containers were sealed which was very nice and convenient.

Each main dish comes with rice, and you can also select the level of spice which was great. They also list ingredients that some people might hace allergies to and mark the relecant dishes. Very thoughtful.

Place itself. Rather small but not crowded, and there's plenty of room, it's quiet and the atmosphere is nice. Not wheelchair accessible. Parking acailable. Not sure if parking is provided by the restaurant but there was plenty of room which is also convenient.

Down 1 star because they didn't provide chopsticks or forks, and no napkins, didn't ask if we needed them either. That was expected like in any other place but didn't happen. No big deal and otherwise really...

Was skeptical at first but now am a big fan! I take a simple approach to food and when I find something I like I stick with it. Everything we have ordered was amazing. I really like the Fried Rice with chicken, egg, and vegetables. Would eat this for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And I have. Highly recommended Thai Chili! Staff is also amazing. Always a smile and helpful. They even speak English and have English menus. I will return. I did return and return! You should also, go and enjoy take out...
