Gasthof Weißes Lamm — Restaurant in Nuremberg

Second time I have stayed ast this guest house whilst visiting Nuremberg Exhibition Centre for trade shows.||Very difficult to find fault with the accommodation apart from single rooms basic but very clean and shared toilets. However, this is where the 'downside' ends.||Location - loveley Bavarian village with excellent bus service linking with Frankenstrasse Underground and then on to Messe where the Exhibition Center is situated.||Total Journey time max 25 minutes.Use opposite track on U1 and you are in the Center of Nuremberg - similar timing.||Up-Up-Up side - Dining at the Gasthoff Weisses Lamm - superb traditional Bavarian food - especially the regional specialty - Schaufele mit Kloss - Roast Pork Shoulder with dumplings!||Sublime, words will not do justice etc etc!||Guesthouse attached to Butcher shops - meat dishes superb, fresh and professionally prepared.||Foaming Tankards and long wide tables allowing for much conversation with village locals and residents alike. Makes you wish you had packed your Lederhosen!||Breakfast -substantial wity Fresh Bread - cheeses cooked meats ( including delicious roast pork from previous evening fruits. eggs etc.- can not be faulted. A great place if you're hungry. or thirsty.||Although it's a relatively new building, the service, quality and dining arrangements are very traditional. Long tables in the main dining room, great beer and great food. Steak and onions is HIGHLY recommended - a perfect thick, rare entrecôte wearing a bird’s nest of crispy, delicious onions cooked I don't know how, with excellent sauteed potatoes. The sander was also fresh and delicious. Beer is great and the house wines are great and I don't understand how we managed to stay there, eat there in the evening, have breakfast and generate a bill of only €64.||Some rooms don't have toilets but the shared facilities are on every floor and teutonically clean. Our room was quiet, large and airy. Nurnberg is ten minutes away by car. We were on holiday but if I were staying for an exhibition in Nurnberg, this would be my...
