Tony and his family provide good food with personalized service at competitive prices. What sets s’Budche apart from other establishments in the area is their warm reception. You feel as if you are eating among friends, instead of dining with stone-cold Germans who could care less about you except for how much they can take from you wallet! As far as the food goes…..the Turkey is excellent, regardless of how you order it (with Mushrooms, onions or as a schnitzel). Tony always keeps his establishment notoriously clean! While reservations aren’t necessary, it is better to have a reservations on the weekends, as it can get quite busy. If I could make one change it would be to vary the menu more, so more items are on offer. s’Busche accepts AMEX, Visa and Mastercard. I am a regular customer and will continue to visit, particularly because the local area is truly bereft of any other decent dining options. When it comes to food, service and atmosphere…..s’Budche is the best...

sBudche is an interesting combination. It appears to have Italian owners who do some decent Italian cuisine, but the food its known for in the area is schnitzel. I've had a few of their schnitzels--the pepper schnitzel, which I've only ever seen on special--and they are very good. They also have Kolsh beer from Koln on tap. Not very many places out side of Koln do this.
There's a nice patio area with a few tables to enjoy your meal in the sun when it makes its appearance for all of 10 days a year in Germany. The nicest part, for me, about sBudche, is that they are located right next to Glan-Munchweiler's train platform, so I can have a beer or bite before coming/going...

Simple but perfect. Same goes for the ice cream with raspberry sauce- I think the sauce was made in house from fresh raspberries- there were a lot of chunks of fruit in it. And some sort of alcohol. I’m an (sometimes too) adventurous eater, but this meal was a reminder that sticking to the classics can be rewarding.
The restaurant is cozy and pretty, and the staff was very patient about my lack of German, and had an...
