Overall I would say that I enjoyed my time that I stayed at the Gasthof Rhonblick. I found the owners Stefan and Natalia to be great host as well as their staff. They were willing to help and be flexible in the accommodation arrangements. The evening meals available in the restaurant were also diverse and enough to keep one well satisfied. The breakfast was nice and light and provide a good start to the day. Also having a public bar adjacent to the dining area meant drink were readily available. Later in the evenings there is a downstairs bar for events and bands depending on the time of year and what is happening culturally but there is usually always something going on. Also there is a public bus service which can take you into town though in the country area the service stops early on Saturday afternoons. There is also a supermarket nearby if you need to get some supplies for the bathroom and an ATM / cash machine a few minutes walk across the road. There is also plenty of walking / biking paths through out the area and one can take many trips through out the country side to relax and enjoy the sights. In the village there is also a little water park which is always fun for the kids which has a little mini water way running through it and other little features. So the Gasthof Rhonblick would definitely be a nice place for a weekend stop over or a...

Read moreHad the pleasure of staying here in December as myself and son were attending a football match at Frankfurt due to a longstanding friendship between supporters of my team and Frankfurt. The welcome from Stefan and his wife and staff was second to none and the hospitality of all the people we met was excellent. The food served in the restaraunt was of the highest quality and the steak i ordered on the first night was one of the best i have ever tasted. The rooms are very modern and comfortable and it is very quiet at night. The addition of a bar in the basement is a additional asset. We were treated to a snowfall during our stay and this enhanced our trip to nearby Fulda which is also a pleasant place to visit with the xmas markets.Transport is very easy and Frankfurt only 1 hour away on train.Must also praise Luthansa-excellent customer service and 23kg free along with drinks.I will definately be visiting...
