Ristorante Gargano — Restaurant in Rödermark

Terrible place. I had the unfortunate chance to meet the owner, who pushed me and snatched my phone out of my hand. After confirming beforehand that they accept card payments, I ordered and ate an €8 pizza. When I went to pay, I was suddenly told they only accept EC cards, so of course I offered to pay via PayPal or instant bank transfer, which my bank provides, since I only had a digital card, but the waiter told me to wait. Then the owner came out, took my phone without asking, and told me to "go get the money so I can get my phone back." I was shocked and disgusted. When he refused to give my phone back, I had to take it from him — and that’s when he pushed me out of the restaurant. I brought the cash back, even though I honestly should have called the police. Oh, and the pizza? Tasted like a frozen supermarket one. Avoid this place...

Last time I was there a kids football team was in and it was hell. Good job I've been before and liked it . Service could be a bit better . It's not that they are not friendly but if you are asked for a drink by someone at the table don't just say 'ok' but ask the rest of the table if anyone else needs something more. You make money and we all get drinks and happy drunk . Simple things like that we're missing but...

Ich habe noch nie in meinem Leben so schlecht gegessen, wie im Gargano. Und ich bin schon über 50. Die drei Scheiben trockenes Brot kam mit etwas Frischkäse und ein paar kleinen Tomatenstücken. Die Brokkolicremesuppe war so scharf, dass ich sie nicht komplett essen konnte und leicht versalzen war sie auch. Der Beilagensalat war trocken. Immerhin wurde Essig und Öl dazu gestellt. Salz und Pfeffer bekam ich nur auf Nachfrage. Das Cordon Bleu war definitiv Tiefkühlkost von irgendeinem Billigdiscounter. Das konnte man sehen. Und riechen. Der Käse war total ranzig. Ich konnte es wirklich nur probieren. Selbst die Pommes waren ungenießbar. Wie man bei Pommes so viel falsch machen kann, ist mir ein Rätsel. Ketchup hätte ich extra für zahlen müssen. Die Bedienung war nicht nur wortkarg, sondern offensichtlich auch nicht arbeitsliebend. Es hat nur noch gefehlt, dass er mir den Teller auf den Tisch wirft. Ich habe fast das gesamte Essen zurückgeben lassen und direkt die Rechnung bestellt. Dem Typ da hat es null interessiert, was ich zu meinem Essen sagte. Es war ihm offensichtlich egal.
