Wirtshaus Hocheck in Ramsau has got to be the best place on earth when you can't be at home! We first went for a stay with friends who invited us to join them. And it was the best time ever! And we even made some very good new friends, Christian and Jane. After having stayed with them now four times They are more like family. || We were made to feel at home. The room that We often stay in (Our room) and the one my daughter stayed in are perfectly warm and inviting. I know the other rooms have to be as well. Now the food , well the Food is amazing and that is putting it simply because honestly there is no way to fully describe how amazing the food is! ||The views are Beautiful in all kinds of weather. There is a river just below and you can hear it so clearly and crsiply at night; it's just relaxing in every way.|| Not to mention it is close to Everything you might want to see. Location is Ideal for Hiking and heading in to Salzburg. ||I will be visiting again in the very near future. I could go on and on about how much I love Wirsthaus Hocheck , But above all we really love Christian and Jane as well as their staff and family. We just returned from our third stay at Wirtshaus Hocheck in Ramsau and I have to say of all the places I have been in the world this is my favorite place and I always look forward to my next trip back there. Christian and Jane always make us feel welcome and like one of the family and even Boycee (the dog) has grown to love us too. We have had the privilege to stay in many of the rooms of this 500 year old home, which are not numbered but named after beloved family members, and each one is comfortable, clean and has a homey feel. It has beautiful views of the mountains and the soothing sounds of the river right out your door will put even the most stressed traveler at ease. And the food!! OH the Food!!
