When you’re in Germany and haven’t had Chili’s for a few years, Ramstein Air Base should be a go-to. As of this post (25 June, 2022), the menu is limited and they’re closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays due to a short staff. They did, however, say they were expanding the menu out. For those who get the best sellers, the limited menu is still great with all the favorites. The air conditioning vents above are for looks so, if you visit during the summer, expect some warmth! The drinks were delicious and about as strong as one would normally expect from a chain restaurant. It was another plus to be in a place that doesn’t charge by-the-cup for soft drinks. It was a nice touch of home that way—not to mention the plastic straws (which is either a plus or a negative for you depending on your stance on paper straws). The servers were all great and it was an enjoyable mix of American and German staff. They were prompt with drink refills and made sure the chips and salsa stayed fresh. Almost no wait time for the food. That’s a universal positive for any restaurant—so well done, Chili’s. Overall, it was great to visit something we’ve not had for a few years and we weren’t disappointed. Definitely recommend a visit if it’s been a while!

If y’all want literal maggots in your salad, this is the place to go. My mom and I decided to have dinner here today, and we both ordered a salad and chicken. After devouring my salad and glancing at hers, I noticed something crawling along her lettuce leaves. It was a live, wiggling, moving maggot. We informed our server, and the manager ended up coming to talk to us. He made it even worse by saying “there’s nothing we can do about it now”, and that “someone found a maggot in their food three weeks ago”. He ended it by saying it was a seasonal issue, that maggots come with the season, but maggots sound like a kitchen problem! Also, the service was extremely slow, and a table of four that sat down next to us received their food way before ours, and we were sat at least 20 minutes before them. The video shows the maggot we found in the salad. Overall, -100/10 experience.

Margarita was ok, ordered the most expensive one and it was a little watered down and no salt on the rim. I would not order one again. Spinach queso had no spinach in it and the cheddar cheese on top just stayed in a clump making the whole thing difficult to eat. The sampler platter mini burgers were overcooked and plain. The server asked if bacon, ranch, cheddar, and onions were ok and we said yes to all of it. It came out with a small piece of cheese and nothing else. The dipping sauces were watered down. The atmosphere is definitely worn down, you can tell it’s been there awhile and not maintained very well. The bar wasn’t wiped down and behind the bar looked pretty messy. Bartender making drinks, spilling things on the floor and counter and not making much effort to clean. Not too friendly or concerned.

We are TDY and staying in the Ramstein Inn in one of their buildings not connected to the mall. We ordered our food at 1103, they opened at 11, through an online app. The app said it would be delivered at 1145. At 12 I called to check on the order. The man who answered said that they were swamped and had several orders ahead of us but assured us that the driver just returned and was now heading out with our food. At 1315 I called back and the phone was answered by the same man, after two or three attempts. He said the driver couldn't find building 846 (which even shows up on gps), and had just returned with our food. I reread our address and was told that someone rewrote our address wrong. It's ok, things happen, right? He asked if we even wanted the food at this point and if so do we want it reheated or recooked... or to speak to a manager. I was a bit stunned that he would ask if we wanted it cold or not instead of just, at the least, reheating it without us having to ask. Ultimately, I told him that as long as it arrives warm we wouldn't complain. Fast forward another 30 minutes our food finally arrived, cold, and half of the order not even in the bag. The containers looked as if they had been tossed around and it was all soggy. I can't say whether or not the quality of food was good or not as it was completely unappetizing when we finally got to eat. However, I stayed polite and even tipped the driver. Still, they did not offer to refund or make the situation right. I do not believe in begging businesses to fix mistakes, I brought it to their attention and left it for them to handle.... in the end, we will be here another week and we will eat cold pop tarts before we give them any more of our business. We are thankful that Ramstein has many other respectable restaurants to...

We went yesterday for my birthday. It was okay at first the drinks were a little worse than usual, but whatever staying positive, we got our appetizers and weren’t checked on for another 30 minutes to an hour (hadn’t even ordered our main meals yet.) our chips were very over salted and I love me some salty chips. I had to just call it on eating the chips eventually from the salt attacking my tongue. It was closer to closing I think so we tried to stay patient. We finally got the attention of another server asking her if we could order and she got our waitress for us and we ordered our food and asked to get it to go as it was late and we were tired and didn’t want to stay any longer. Kind of just frustrated at that point. I ordered steak and shrimp fajitas. I got home opened my food and everything was right except my order they gave me steak and chicken barely anything in there and no tortillas. Needless to say I am very disappointed. I’m trying to assume the server we got was newer possibly but not a great experience this go around. On the bright side it looks like they knew I needed to go on a diet 🤣 100 dollars for that and our appetizers and drinks I wouldn’t say I’d...
