We stayed only for one night and thank goodness for that! I normally wouldn’t write a terrible review but since it was handled so poorly and rudely, I wouldn’t want others to have this same experience. The location of this hotel couldn’t be better but the rooms were quite old, the fan in the bathroom made a horrific screeching sound when you turned on the light and the WiFi was not good. We were lucky enough to find a paid parking spot in a somewhat nearby spot but dragging your bags on cobblestone is not that fun. The bedding was quite old and took off the comforter and I always check the bed for bugs. At 1:30am I was awaken by getting bit by something. I had my phone in bed with me and turned on my flashlight and there were 2 bed bugs underneath me! I had about 6 huge welts from bug bites. I was also able to catch 2 of the bugs and put them in a ziplock bag as proof. My friend went down and grabbed the emergency telephone number from the lobby while I grabbed all of our stuff off the ground. There were no luggage racks in any of the rooms so I was propping them on any table we had. I called the number and the lady who checked us in answered. I told her about the bugs and she came up. I had to use google translate to get my point across that we would have to do laundry or at least use a dryer to kill any bugs or their eggs to prevent spreading them. She refused and told us it was too loud and that we would have to come back in the morning to do it. She gave us another room but we tried to tell her that our stuff could possibly have bugs or their eggs in them and could spread to the new room. She didn’t care. We spent the night wiping down everything that couldn’t be washed and dried in the bathroom with the loud fan! When we went down in the morning we were met by the same lady with much more attitude like we were inconveniencing her. She kept making sounds at us like she was annoyed and that we were going overboard about the whole ordeal. When we finally finished washing and drying our clothes and stuffing everything into garbage bags, we asked her about a refund. She refused saying that it was travelers like us bringing the bugs in. I was trying to explain that if she would have just let us do our laundry or at least dry our clothes it had a better chance of killing the bugs and spreading. We went back up to grab the remaining things in our new room and our old room (#25) had the door propped open and had already been “cleaned” with the same gross comforter on it and who knows what they did with the ziplock bag of the 2 bed bugs went to. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It’s places like these why there’s a huge bed bug problem...

Read moreAlthough this is a good location, this hotel was one of the worst I've stayed in. Our room was up several stairs, and when we finally lugged our bags in, we discovered a tiny attic-like room that was stuffy and so, so hot. There was a tiny window and although it was in the 60s outside, there was zero airflow into the room. It felt like stale, musty air the entire time and never cooled off. On top of that, the bathroom was tiny and we couldn't use the light because it automatically turned on a fan that made a screeching sound. The shower didn't close all the way and leaked water so it smelled moldy. The lamps didn't work either, so it was always dark. The TV didn't work. The wifi didn't work. Nothing worked. The bedding was also very itchy. Basically everything that could be wrong was wrong. The woman in charge was very rude and even chastised at us for sitting at a table with four chairs instead of a table with two chairs at breakfast (we were the only ones in the whole dining room and we didn't see the two chairs tables). Anyway, there are much nicer hotels for similar...
