Agios dimitrios — Restaurant in Salzhemmendorf

Not sure where to start… Other than I could have flew to Greece, had an authentic meal and flew back…

I would give them 0 stars if I could… Rang at 1700 to reserve a table for 1900. Got there for 1900, didn’t reserve the table for us… We were met by the most rude and disrespectful waitress, who sat us at the table… Took her 20 MINUTES to take the drinks order, when we said we were ready to order food too she said she couldn’t do that and someone else would take the food order. Another 20 minutes minutes passed and she came back to say she needs to reorder the drinks and can order the food now too. (Obviously took a 20 minute crash course on how to take a food order)… managed to get the drinks, even though one was wrong. Another 30 minutes pass and no starters but at least the wrong salad came, to tell the waitress and they bring out the right salad but looked disgusting. Least we fed ourselves on gummy bears that found at the bottom of my handbag… after waiting even longer and still no starter or mains, I asked for the bill… the guy behind the bar said it’s totally acceptable to wait 1 hour and 10/15 minutes…

Rude waitress decided to complain about us several times to the other staff members how we made a comment how long it’s took to order, totally unprofessional behaviour… absolutely disgusting service…

If you haven’t got time don’t bother going… Because the grim reaper will be there before...

schönes Ambiente, nette Bedienung. Aber:

Nach ewiger Warterei (45min) kamen dann endlich die Vorspeisen.

Ich hatte als Vorspeise Tsatsiki mit "frischem" Brot ca. 5€. Der Tsatsiki war in Ordnung, aber es gab nur 2 ganz kleine Stücke Baguette, was nicht wirklich frisch war. Es stellte sich bei den anderen Gästen heraus, dass wohl das Brot den Tag Zuneigung ging.

Als Hauptspeise gab es überbackenes Gyros mit Pommes ca. 16€. Hierzu gab es einen echt guten kleinen Salat vorweg. Die Anzahl der Steakhouse Pommes war mit 9 Stücken seeeehr überschaubar. Ähnlich war es mit dem Gyros. Es wurde in einer Schale, etwas größer als eine Pommespappe, serviert. An vielen Stellen stark verbrannt und sehr trocken bzw. teils zäh.

Für 2 Personen mit je einem Getränk und einer Vorspeise 45€ zu zahlen um so lange aufs Essen zu warten und nicht satt zu werden ist Preis/Leistung technisch nicht in Ordnung. Man hat außerdem im Restaurant gefroren bei 15 Grad Außentemperatur.

Ich werde das Restaurant nicht...

Beginnen möchte ich damit, dass ich mit meiner Frau zu Abend essen wollte. Was gut war ist das wir spontan einen Platz bekommen haben. Auch der Mykonos Teller und die Schweinesteakmedallion Pfanne meiner Frau war gut.

Leider gab es aber auch einigen Anlass zur Kritik. Das Restaurant war extrem vernebelt und somit roch es vor Ort nicht angenehm, zudem ist dieser Geruch in die Kleidung gezogen,als auch an die Handtasche. (Sehr unangenehm) Ich hoffe stark das dies eine Ausnahme war, da ich wahrlich nicht empfindlich bin. Damit man das vergleichen kann. Um einen solchen Geruch zu erzeugen muss man Zuhause die Pfanne mit Fett anstellen und dann nach 10min. wieder kommen um die Fenster aufzureißen weil man die Luft in der Küche schneiden kann.

Leider war der Vorspeisen Teller und das Gesamtpaket nicht so gut das man wieder kommen möchte. Evtl. Mal im Sommer draußen aber ein Restaurant in das man gerne geht ist es so leider...
