15 years ago, I would tell my friends this place has the best pizza south of the Italian border. Well, the place has gone downhill year after year. There is little competition in the area, they probably made their fortune and don't need to take care of customers anymore. They have a WiFi, but when you ask for the password, they tell you "sorry, only hotel guests get the password". Goodness, can you make a dumbet policy? It costs you nothing extra to give the password to a customer leaving 60 euros with them. Normally, I am a very generous tipper, but today I just paid the cheque. Unfortunately, this penalizes the wrong person, but there is no other...

The wine was a great deal for a very nice price, I would strongly recommend it, service was attentive. But the food..... my friend jokingly said that the pizzas were run over by a truck probably. They were flat, no borders, such a lazy and cheap choice to use mushrooms from the can.... poor pizza quality. Regarding the antipasto. If I wanted something which can be bought in a supermarket, then why would would I go to a restaurant? Nothing "made at home", everything "fresh" from the jars or cans. Der letzte Versuch. Eine Bewertung wollte ich eigentlich nicht abgeben, da ich fest glaube, dass sich der Inhaber dieses Restaurants gar nicht für Bewertungen interessiert. So, nun also doch: Service: sehr schlecht, man kann froh sein, wenn man ein Getränk erhält und sitzt dann vor leeren Gläsern und muss trotz Nachfrage eine Stunde auf Essen warten. Von der Bedienung kein Bitte, kein Danke und schon gar keine Entschuldigung für lange Wartezeiten. Ambiente: Dorfkneipe. Da helfen auch keine merkwürdigen Bilder an der Wand. Essen: Tagliatelle sind verkocht, al dente geht anders. Die Soße ist ein fester Pamps, mit dem man Löcher in der Wand zu spachteln könnte. Saltimbocca a la Romana ist ohne Salbei, dafür mit einem billigen versalzenem Schinken gemacht. Da springt einem nix in den Mund. Und dafür ist das beigelegte Gemüse so weich gekocht, dass es für zahnlose genießbar wäre. Auch macht es eher den Eindruck von Resten aus der anti pasti Kiste. Fazit: nicht noch einmal, auch weil beim letzten Besuch "die Dorade Feuer gefangen" hatte, wie uns der Chef gestand. Aber jeder hatte eine zweite Chance verdient....
