Restaurant Halbzeit — Restaurant in Schönau am Königssee

Vorsicht/Caution: pay careful attention to what you’ve ordered and what’s brought to your table lest you be subjected to being ripped-off.

We ordered a Pils, i.e., Stiegl Pils, 0,5, for €5,90. About 5 mins later, a 0,3 Brauerei Berchtesgaden bier was dropped at the table. I asked the server who delivered this, “is this a Pils?” she said “yes, it’s a Berchtesgaden Pils” I said only a 0,5 Pils by Stiegl is on the menu. She asked if I’d like to see the bottle. I asked how much this costs, now downgraded from 0,5 to 0,3 and substituted for another beer. On re-examining the menu, there was no offer for this beer or for this size. She stopped the server that took the order to ask him for the price - he looked at his electronic device and said €5,90. Excuse me, but one does not change the beer ordered to another, substitute a smaller size (almost by half) and charge the customer the same price!

Nature pure! Beautiful surroundings in such a shining day. Without doubt is the place to have enjoyable meals with foods. No much choices for Vaggie eaters but no trouble at all. While we laying back, relax and having our lunch, we don’t want anything else but simply looking at Mt. Watzmann and Village, oh! So harmonious...

Service war leider nicht gut. Zuerst war es so, dass für das gesamte Restaurant nur ein Kellner da war, welcher mit abräumen, bedienen und abkassieren ausgelastet war, so dass wir über 15 Minuten nicht beachtet wurden. Aufmerksam konnten wir uns auch nicht machen, da der Kellner es nicht zu uns in die Nähe schaffte. Nach ungefähr 15 Minuten kam dann der 2. Kellner zurück von wo auch immer er war. Der Kellner, der zu Beginn nicht da war, war eine totale Katastrophe, der seinen Job nicht gerne macht. Zuerst ließ er neben der Küche ein Glas fallen und lachte darüber, im Anschluss, beim abräumen, fiel ihm wieder eine Tasse runter, er drehte sich um, um der Tasse hinterherzuschauen, lachte und ließ die andere Tasse, welche noch auf dem Tablett war, ebenfalls fallen.
