Tony's Pizzeria Airport — Restaurant in Schönefeld

I recently visited Tony’s Pizzeria Airport in Berlin and had a fantastic experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff, particularly Deepika and her colleagues, provided outstanding service that really made my visit special.

The food was excellent, featuring a diverse and delicious menu that left me wanting to try everything. The ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall enjoyment of the meal, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the toilet facilities, which exceeded my expectations.

Ich bin seit einigen Monaten geschäftlich im Süden von Berlin. In der Nähe der Hotels Moxy und B&B am Flughafen gibt es kein Restaurant. Es gibt aber seit ein paar Wochen eine Ausnahne. Lange war die Eröffnung von Tony’s Pizzeria angekündigt, aber es war geschlossen. Irgendwann im Mai war es dann soweit.

Ich wollte es testen - wenn ich schon hier übernachte.

Es war nur ein Tisch belegt. Mir wurde von dem eifrigen Kellner ein Tisch angeboten, den ich auch annahm. Die Einrichtung ist schön, modern und zweckmäßig. Die Ansprache des Kellners ist zu kumpelhaft für meinen Geschmack. Das macht das schöne Ambiente außen rum etwas zunichte. Es fehlt ein wenig Stil und Professionalität.

Die Karte bietet eine respektable Auswahl an Speisen. Allerdings sind die Preise extrem hoch. Natürlich muss man hier berücksichtigen, dass man sich dort bewusst ist, dass man Lokalmatador ist und fast verlangen kann was man will. Ich nahm eine Pizza mit scharfer Salami, Rucola und Parmesan.

Das Essen wurde schnell gebracht. Auf den ersten Blick sah das gut aus. Auf den zweiten Blick war mir klar, dass dies kein Geschmackserlebnis sein wird.

Und so war es auch. Bei dem Teig bin ich mir extrem sicher, dass es sich um einen Fertigteig handelt. Der Teig war nicht luftig locker, schmeckte nach kaum Etwas. Die Salami war leider ebenfalls nicht besonders. Auch die Tomatensoße schmeckte so, als hätte man direkt die Dose geöffnet und den Sud direkt auf den Pizzaboden gekippt. Keine Gewürze, kein Pepp, absolut nichts was geschmacklich heraussticht. Lediglich der Rucola war extrem frisch. Auch der Parmesan war qualitativ eher durchschnittlich.

Insgesamt: Man kann zu Tony‘s Pizzeria Airport gehen - aber zum Glück muss man es nicht. Es gibt im Spden von Berlin in Rudow bessere Alternativen. Ja, man braucht ein Taxi oder ein Auto. Aber es lohnt sich.

Ich würde den Ton‘s noch eine Chance geben, aber bestimmt mit keiner Pizza sondern mit...

Not an enjoyable experience. Walked in and the lady that sat us down did not seem friendly at all. She was on her phone the entire day of our meal. The food honestly was not even good. This is literally the only available option in walking distance, so if you’re desperate, this is probably where you will go. Additionally, the food here is not authentic Italian food. Every employee here was south Asian. There’s no issue with that, but the food reflects their lack of knowledge of how to make authentic Italian food. I wouldn’t recommend and food...
