Gasthof zur Post — Restaurant in Schöntal

It was my third time I was visiting Schöntal. I always slept in Zur Post and I was satisfied. ||The room:||Not big but enough. TV, two beds, clean. Everything you need on a bussines trip. The only problem I've had was with the curtains. They were broken so I had to pot down the lights in the evening not to be a window puppet. ||Restaurant is quite big and the staff was very kind. I have to admit, I've eaten one of the best chicken steak with vegetables here. Very good. And not to expensive. ||On the other side of the street is a beautifull monastery with a church. The only thing you have to consider - the bells are ringing every 15 minutes. Day and night. So, If your sleep is not so deep, you will be avake every 15 minutes. It's very disturbing. They should turn of the bells at night. ||If you're traveling to Schöntal, this is the hotel to stay at. But, do not...

This small family owned hotel is the perfect hotel to stay if in the area. ||Beds are comfortable, rooms are a good size. All you need to site see or stay on business. ||||The staff is beyond amazing and the food is even better. I loved breakfast every day, the pretzels were perfect! You have a dedicated table for each day of your visit so you know right where to go and they remember what you like. ||||Dinner in the main restaurant is also beyond good. Servings are large, so I was often in trouble for not finishing my meal. ||||The only issue is the key situation. I wasn’t comfortable leaving my key on a hook in the hallway each day. Also if you arrive back late they keys are gone, so you have to go to the restaurant...
