Excellent breakfast, the best I have had in a long time. All four of us had different things and we were all very happy. The French toast is stuffed with a creamy sauce. The bagel has perfect bread—soft and yet just tough enough to really hold together. The yogurt was anything but boring, with lots of different things in it. They put sprigs of fresh berries in different things. You could get a really unique breakfast like I did, or get a more American breakfast, like my brother did: bacon and eggs and toast. The eggs were PERFECTLY cooked—a very impressive feat. The bacon was above average also.

They have a lot of unique juices, such as rhubarb, which did in fact taste and smell like real rhubarb. There were many other unique juices as well as teas and coffee, we had a very good hot chocolate.

The decor is wonderful; there is lots of light wood and nice bouquets of real flowers. There are sheepskins and etc. The best part about the decor is the large windows allowing you to see the alps on multiple sides.

There is a full bar here as well. Also they have menus in English as well as German.

Overall this was the best breakfast experience I have had in a long time. I had to write a review before...

The autumn leaves start showing its sign in Schliersee. A quiet town during the weekdays but filled with tourists from the region during weekends and holidays. Bikers, cyclists & hikers. It tooks 15min by bus to Slurs Distillery, we intentionally spent our lunch at Slyrs Caffee & Lunchery before we toured the distillery (plus the Whisky Tasting). We did struggle a bit to search for the right course, as the choice is limited from the menu. So we consulted the friendly staff, and was suggested the Bavarian veal snitzel, we took her advice and top it up with Bumpkin Soup. I must said the snitzel was really good. Crispy crust cover the thinly pound veal meat. The wies beer with thick hob aroma was thirst quenching as well. We especially love the atmosphere with the visitor center right below. A good education tour on German Whisky distillation & the long history behind the White Oak cask that add aroma & color to the aged whisky....

Unterdurchschnittliches Erlebnis, nicht zu empfehlen

Wir waren am Sonntag zu Zweit zum Frühstücken da. Wir hatten das Frühstück „Fit für den Tag“ und „Der Klassiker am Morgen“. Das Frühstück „Fit für den Tag“ war geschmacklich in Ordnung, allerdings für die Menge zu teuer. Das Frühstücksei war noch sehr flüssig und ist beim Öffnen auf dem Teller „explodiert“. „Der Klassiker am Morgen“ wurde auf Wunsch ohne Wurst und mit hartgekochtem Ei (aufgrund einer bereits schon deutlich sichtbaren Schwangerschaft) bestellt. Hier hätte ein Hinweis von der Servicekraft kommen können, dass der Käse, der dabei ist aus Rohmilch ist. Dass ich vergessen habe, explizit nachzufragen, nehm ich auf meine Kappe, allerdings stand in der Speisekarte auch nirgends ein Hinweis auf Rohmilch oder Ähnliches… Als ich nachgefragt hatte, ob der Käse aus Rohmilch ist, musste die Bedienung erst in der Küche nachfragen. Das extra hartgekocht bestellte Ei hatte noch flüssiges Eiweiß. Die Bedienung darauf angesprochen, dass ich ein hartgekochtes Ei bestellt hatte, kam von ihr ein: „Und das ist nicht hart genug?!?“ Auf mein verneinen wurde mir ein neues, wirklich hart gekochtes Ei gebracht. Die Petersilie, die zur Dekoration auf dem Käse lag, hatte noch deutlich sichtbare Erde auf den Blättern, die auch schon auf den Käse gebröselt hat. Als ich die Servicekraft darauf angesprochen habe, meinte sie: „Wir schneiden die Petersilie halt frisch ab.“ Das an sich ist ja löblich, frische Produkte zu verwenden, aber man kann sie ja trotzdem waschen und dem Gast sauber servieren. Einige Gäste hielten es nicht für notwendig beim verlassen ihres Platzes ihre Maske aufzusetzen. Egal ob sie die Lunchery verlassen haben oder mit dem Kind im Raum spazieren gegangen sind. Es kam von keiner Servicekraft ein Hinweis, dass die Erwachsenen doch bitte eine Maske tragen müssen. Den Vogel schoss ein Vater mit seinem Kind ab: er hat das Kind mit Straßenschuhen auf den kleinen Tresen gestellt, auf dem das saubere Besteck, saubere Teller und frische Servierten für die Gäste standen. Die Bedienung, die dazu kam und frisches Besteck holte, hat dies gekonnt ignoriert, obwohl das Kind unmittelbar neben ihr zwischen den sauberen Utensilien stand.

Alles in Allem waren wir sehr enttäuscht. Vor allem vom Service mit dem schlechtem Beschwerdemanagement und dem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Von einer Premiummarke wie Slyrs haben wir mehr erwartet.

Das können andere Cafés in der nahen Umgebung deutlich besser...
