Hardtmühle — Restaurant in Schwalmtal

Sorry but I really can't recommend Hardtmühle.

I stayed there with my little daughter a few nights ago. There was a big party just below our room and we didn't get any sleep until after 2 am.

Off course the hotel has to have have larger groups etc weddings, but how come do they rent out rooms for other people, when it means the don't get any sleep?

During chek out I mentioned the party to the receptionist. It's been a long time since I've met such an arrogant and hostile attitude from any staff.

Normally there would have been some sort of a discount - it would make sense. Or even an excuse for the noise - I could have lived with that. But nothing at all. So therefore no recommendations from me (and then I don't even include the missing coffee at breakfast ('oh, we forgot it" was the reply), the heavily perfumed pillows and sheets plus the lack of shampoo in the...

When we arrived, nobody seemed to bother there were new guests. it took them 10' before noticing we were waiting. The restaurant semms to be the main earner, with the hotel as a side income. In the corridor to the rooms, the first thing we saw was a pair of muddy boots and stinking socks lying in front of our room.The room was very clean and that's the only positive thing to say about it. No toiletries, nor hairdryer, barely enough toilet paper. Very sparsely furnished, very oldfashioned too. The balcony was not individual, buth shared with other rooms. The worst of all was the NOISE of the terrace until 1.30am! Barking dogs in the morning woke us up after a too short terrible night ( pets not allowed???).||All in all, not an experience we...

Ich kann das Gasthaus "Zur Hardtmühle" in Eifa nur in höchsten Tönen loben! Von Anfang bis Ende war es ein rundum perfekter Aufenthalt. Das Essen ist einfach fantastisch – die Gerichte sind frisch, unglaublich lecker und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Man merkt, dass hier viel Wert auf Qualität und Geschmack gelegt wird. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die tolle Auswahl an regionalen Spezialitäten, die jedes Mal ein Genuss sind.

Die Bedienung ist äußerst freundlich, sympathisch und aufmerksam. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und rundum gut betreut. Auch die Besitzer sind unglaublich herzlich und sorgen dafür, dass man sich wie zu Hause fühlt. Man merkt, dass hier Gastfreundschaft großgeschrieben wird.

Die Zimmer sind in einem perfekten Zustand: modern, sauber und sehr gemütlich. Ideal, um nach einem langen Tag in der wunderschönen Umgebung zur Ruhe zu kommen. Auch der Parkplatz direkt am Haus bietet genügend Platz, sodass man sich um sein Auto keine Sorgen machen muss.

Die Natur rund um das Gasthaus ist einfach einzigartig und lädt zu langen Spaziergängen und Wanderungen ein. Der angrenzende Wanderweg ist ein tolles Extra, um die Umgebung noch intensiver zu erleben.

Alles in allem war es ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt und ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen! Ein Ort, an dem man sich sehr wohlfühlt und der wirklich rundum zu empfehlen ist. Absolute...
