Pizzeria Lucky — Restaurant in Schweich an der Römischen Weinstraße

We felt very "lucky" to have found Indian food (Northern) here in Kluesserath. There are only 3 restaurants and although Lucky is listed as a pizzeria, we chose the more recommended by review Indian selections. It's a counter serve restaurant with both indoor and outdoor (upstairs terrace) seating. The food was good, with large servings and light on the heat although flavorful. I'm sure if you're an Indian food fan they'll turn up the heat upon request. We didn't try the Italian food and the pizza we saw looked like the dough was not yeasted. My one complaint is there are no naan, paratha, chapati or roti breads offered. We ordered the "pizza bread" replacement and it sufficed but left me wishing for true Indian breads. Yesterday, I ran in heavy rain and was hungry. I found Pizzeria Lucky the only nearest and most open place to have food.

The staff members were incredibly hospital. I ordered a Margareta pizza 🍕 which was the cheapest pizza I had so far. The quality was excellent. The owner gave me a complimentary drink.
