Pfeffermühle — Restaurant in Seeg (VGem)

We stayed for 2 nights in July and were expecting an apartment (although had nothing on the confirmation to prove it). but were given a suite room in a separate building. ||||I was convinced that we had because I had paid slightly extra but since we had nothing to proof it and the owners spoke no english and we no german then we had to live without the kitchen.||||The room was 70's/80s but clean. There was a small balcony with a lovely view. ||||The thing that lets the place down is the breakfast/dining room. It needs a good declutter! It is dark and depressing. Also during breakfast on both mornings there were lots of flies in the room although it did not bother the owner it did us! We didn't enjoy sitting there with flies buzzing around our table and on the buffet breakfast. ||||If it had not been for this the breakfast would have been fine and for 75 euro not bad value(although the usual rate for a double is 64 euro!) This is another reason that I am convinced that we were downgraded to a double room although hadn't spotted this...

We dined here yesterday evening. The food, wine, and server were all outstanding. We sat inside due to the weather but outdoor seating is available. We had steak, medium rare and the Eisenberg schnitzel. Outstanding flavor. Best spaetzel I've had so far while traveling here. Rich and moist with butter and sprinkled with green onions or chives. A chive butter sauce was also on the side for the steak along with fries. Great ambiance and...
