Han Thai — Restaurant in Seeheim-Jugenheim

I went to Han Thai looking forward to enjoying some high quality Chinese cuisine.

I was mildly disappointed. The atmosphere in Han Thai was weird. It was all going well when I ordered my food, but about half way through eating it I needed to go to the bathroom. I got up and walked down the hall in the back to try and get to the bathroom. I must have gone through the wrong door, because I was descending a dark and grimy staircase into a basement with a strange smell. I reached the bottom of the staircase and what I saw shocked me. There was a human sized altar with a statue of a RAT perched atop it. The whole room was lit by creepy candlelight. It was dark and I could not see much but I thought I could see eyes peering out at me from the dark corners of the room.

The food was good though. Some strips of meat had a weird taste about them and I could have sworn there was a tail among the food. Overall, this is a great option for vegetarians and people who love...

Food was good , however the women servicing staff was extremely rude . She didn’t even let us choose a table of our choice (although the restaurant was empty) . If you ask for a empty glass she will ask you the reason . Later at 2:45pm she came on the table and pulled the plate from my child without asking if the child has finished eating( they close at 3:00pm) . The food was okay. The quality is so so as compared to other Thai restaurants around but the waitress was extremely rude. Though maiden Thai restaurant in vicinity would recommend to try other choices if possible. When went through the earlier reviews we are not the first to have this experience.
