We have chosen this hotel on our return trip to Slovenia. I cannot give a 5 stars cause we had a bad experience on the way back . We arrived extremely tired after a long road trip and reception was closed. Not just closed, but there was no way to reach anyone by phone or via email, we waited outside for 40min with 2 kids, everything completely closed, all employees gone. Finally by luck someone from the staff opened the back door, surprised we were there. He informed us we should have received an email informing us how to enter, however we didn’t get anything…and who actually read emails during holidays ? He apologised and he was super kind. I would never have suggested such a thing myself and was blown away by how far she went to help out.||||Our room was fairly Germanic in terms of its furnishings, but that should not be taken as a criticism (hard-wearing, durable and quality materials that would no doubt be good for many years to come). It was huge. We had a large double bed, as well as a sofa, coffee table and desk and there was still a large floor area, on which I joked we could have held a tumbling contest!||||The bathroom was great and we had a peaceful night's sleep at this hotel.||||I thought the price was very reasonable indeed and would recommend the Gastof Rossle...
