Our church group organized a volunteer appreciation dinner here. What looked like a rainy and cloudy day turned out to be a tad bit sunnier and warmer than expected. This may have boosted the rating to a four. While the grounds are fantastic, the dining menu is very limited to a few German sausage (würst) items with potato salad or not, a few flammkuchen options, and even less grill items. Still, the service was fast and efficient. I was most impressed with the dessert selections as they all looked amazing. I am one who rarely does dessert, but I could not pass it up. This is a great option for families with kids as there is a big playground right by the dining area. There is plenty of parking, but you do have to walk a short walk to the sitting areas

This is an absolutely beautiful beergarden. Away from the hustle and bustle of Stuttgart. Easy to reach by foot, bike, or car (parking available within a 5 minute walk). It is self-service, so you need to order and get your own food. Their flammkuchen is really delicious. It gets quite busy during the summer months, but so far, we've always been able to find a spot to sit. I like that the playground is huge - great for older and younger kids, and you can see it from your spot at the beergarden.

Classic Biergarten in the forest near bike/walking paths, very family friendly with plenty of activities for the kids, some parking available. The food is standard but the beer is a bit disappointing. Typical selection but without bier vom fass, what’s the point?? Why spend €4-5 on a half liter bottle when you can buy the same beer for €1?

Excellent location to have a beer with your buddy or a family outing or even bring the whole office. Recommend the wood oven fired Flammekueche (Tarte flambé in French), which is like a home style German pizza. Thats the house specialty and you’ll actually carry your order ticket over to the flame master. Enjoy watching the highland cattle grazing peacefully. Great playground for kids too. Nice people and fun atmosphere, it’s a classic German beer garden with tons of seating out in the open or under cover. They have an excellent selection of Swabian...
