Our church group organized a volunteer appreciation dinner here. What looked like a rainy and cloudy day turned out to be a tad bit sunnier and warmer than expected. This may have boosted the rating to a four. While the grounds are fantastic, the dining menu is very limited to a few German sausage (würst) items with potato salad or not, a few flammkuchen options, and even less grill items. It is self-service, so you need to order and get your own food. Their flammkuchen is really delicious. It gets quite busy during the summer months, but so far, we've always been able to find a spot to sit.
