We can't say enough good things about this little family-run pizzaria. Quaint and cozy in the winter; several covered patio tables in the summer. We dig the quirky vibe of the decor. (Can you say, taxidermy pheasant?) We get pizza about half the time and it is good, but as I will eat just about any pizza (sad but true), what I really appreciate are some of the other offerings. The bruschetta--omg. To die for. Also adore the antipasti plates. The pasta is exquisitely cooked each and every time, without fail. Try it with Frankie's Bolognese. We love the gnocchi gorgonzola and especially love the ravioli du jour. The salmon is usually quite nice. The specials are usually out of this world. Not everything is a home run, but most things are great. Even more than the food we love the friendships we've formed with the staff. So kind. Even and especially to my 11yo daughter. Always a little treat for her at the end and sometimes a digestive for the grown ups. The staff feels like our family by now. Just go. Order drinks. Relax and enjoy. Die Pizzeria am Wildwechsel ist ein echtes Juwel und wird als Familienbetrieb mit viel Liebe geführt. Sobald man das gemütliche Lokal betritt, fühlt man sich sofort willkommen. Die warme, rustikale Einrichtung mit viel Holz und liebevollen Details sorgt für eine entspannte Atmosphäre.

Der Star der Pizzeria ist der traditionelle Steinofen. Hier werden die Pizzen so gebacken, wie es sich gehört: knuspriger Boden, perfekt geschmolzener Käse und frische Zutaten. Die Auswahl an Pizzen ist bewusst klein gehalten, um höchste Qualität zu garantieren – von Klassikern wie Margherita und Quattro Stagioni bis hin zu besonderen Kreationen wie Pizza mit Feigen und Prosciutto.

Besonders erwähnenswert ist der selbstgemachte Meeresfrüchte-Salat, der mit frischen Zutaten und viel Geschmack überzeugt. Aber auch die Vorspeisen und Salate sind super frisch und lecker. Wenn man mal keine Lust auf Pizza hat, sind die hausgemachten Pastagerichte eine tolle Alternative. Besonders die Tagliatelle al Tartufo mit aromatischem Trüffelöl und feinen Pilzen sind ein echter Genuss.

Der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Marco, der Besitzer, und sein Team geben einem das Gefühl, bei Freunden zu essen. Die Weinauswahl ist klein, aber fein und passt perfekt zu den Gerichten.
