Review Title: The Worst Subway Experience Anywhere – Just Let It Die
I’ve been to Subways in multiple countries, but the one on Patch Barracks in Stuttgart, Germany is hands down the worst. It’s almost comical how consistently terrible this place is. They’re constantly out of essential items – I’m talking about basics like bread and tortillas. There have been times they’ve completely shut down because they didn’t have bread. It’s ridiculous.
Unlike other on-base restaurants that depend on supply chains from the U.S., this is a German Subway. They don’t have that excuse. Yet somehow, they’re always out of something. And when they do manage to scrape a sandwich together, it’s the worst Subway sandwich you’ll ever have. Stale bread (when they actually have it), poorly made, and overall just a miserable experience.
My last visit will truly be my final one. It’s not worth the frustration or the money. If you’re considering going, don’t. Let this place die and free up the space for a restaurant that actually cares about serving good food. Patch Barracks deserves better.
