Haus Tannenburg — Restaurant in Taunusstein

Eines der Besten Restaurants.

Wir waren bereits das 2. Mal dort essen. Jedes mal nahmen wir andere Verwandte und Freunde mit, nachem wir zuvor voll des Lobes über die Tannenburg waren. Die Verwandten und Freunde konnten sich des großen Lobes nur anschließen.

Wer ein edles "Schicki Micki" Restaurant für die "High Society" erwartet, ist hier falsch.

Dieses traditionelle Restaurant welches seit ca. 35 Jahren existiert wird liebevoll, unkonventionell und doch super charmant und hoch professionell geführt.

Man kann ein Restaurant führen / leiten / betreiben nur weil man Profit erwirtschaften will, oftmals bleiben dann aber Dinge auf der Strecke. Mann kann aber auch ein Restaurant führen, wie dies Hans und Peter Niehoff machen.

Hier merkt man, dass man als Gast willkommen ist, hier stimmt einfach alles. Jeder Mitarbeiter, ohne Ausnahme, wirklich jeder, ist super freundlich, kundenorientiert und versucht, dem Gast den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Immer ist jemand in der Nähe, fragt freundlich, jedoch weder aufdringlich noch nervig nach, ob alles ok ist, ob man noch etwas haben möchte, ob es geschmeckt hat etc. - nochmals, weder penetrant noch nervig! Man merkt hier einfach, dass dies offensichtlich in Ihre DNA "eingepflanzt" wurde. Der Chef lässt sich ebenfalls immer mal wieder blicken und haut hier und da auch mal einen witzigen Spruch raus. Man merkt einfach, dass dieses Restaurant mit Passion / Leidenschaft geführt wird.

Und zum Thema Qualität und Größe der Gerichtige.....was soll ich sagen, das ist schon "abartig" (positiv gemeint!). Geschmacklich wird jeder Bissen von mir mit einen "wow" oder "mmhh" oder "lecker" kommentiert , da kommt man aus dem Schwärmen nicht mehr raus. Ein Schnitzel das unter der Panade noch saftig ist und nicht vertrocknet, das bekommt nicht jeder hin, die Küche in der Tannenburg schon. Die Portionsgrößen sind so groß, dass ich mir ehrlich gesagt nicht vorstellen kann, dass hier jemand rausgeht und sagt "ich bin nicht satt geworden" - das kann nicht sein!

Sollte man irgendetwas nicht komplett schaffen, ist die Erste Frage beim Abräumen "darf ich es Ihnen einpacken, möchten Sie den Rest mitnehmen?"

Die Tannenburg steht auf meiner Restaurant-Liste definitiv auf Platz 1 und wird mit Sicherheit da bleiben!

Demnach uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert und ein "muss" da unbedingt vorbei zu schauen - man kann gar nicht...

I enjoyed the interior of the restaurant. The food was good but I wish it came with vegetables on the plate (I did get a small salad separately but I felt warm veggies was missing from the dish with ox, potatoes and green sauce. The staff asked us to switch tables after already being served drinks because they wanted to use our table for some business paperwork. I felt they could have planned that a bit better but it wasn't a big deal. The one thing that really annoyed me though was the constant ringing of a business phone (?) right by our table. It was loud and obnoxious sounding. I have noise sensitivity so it really made it hard to relax and enjoy the meal and company. The service was okay,...

How is it possible to gather all the good things together in one place? The taste of the food was incredible — each dish better than the last! The French fries weren’t precooked; they were handmade from real potatoes and freshly fried. The champignon sauce had an amazing buttery aroma that made it even more special. The lamb hex was the dish of the day — perfectly cooked and served with a delicious sauce.

The portion sizes were really big, and considering the quality, the prices were very fair. The atmosphere was also fantastic — I loved the charm of the old house, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. I truly enjoyed my time and my meal...
