Gasthof 23 - Biergarten & Bar — Restaurant in Thannhausen

Tried to eat at this place as I was passing through the locality (Thanhausen), and it had positive reviews. There was no one at the bar. We waited for 10 minutes but no one came to talk to us while we waited at the bar. We went through another door and a lady told us that no one understands German, and she will send someone. We waited for a few more minutes but nobody came and we just left.

In similar circumstances, where we do not speak the same language, we managed to communicate using Chat GPT and Google Translate, but if no one comes to talk to us, it's as if we are...

Ich habe hier zum ersten mal bestellt und war wahnsinnig positiv überrascht. Die Bestellung erfolgte über Telefon da ich kein Fan von Lieferando & Co bin. Das Telefonat war sehr entspannt und ich wurde super nett empfangen und beraten.

5/5 sternen in allen Kategorien da das essen super war und der Service perfekt gepasst hat. Bestellt wurde ein Cheeseburger mit Pommes und das Cordon Bleu mit Kroketten und Rahmsoße. Die Verpackung der beiden Gerichte ist super. Es war perfekt warm und zur ausgemachten Zeit ( da ich es selbst abgeholt habe weil ich eh unterwegs war) fertig. Die Lebensmittel waren perfekt verpackt in recycle fähigen Material, die Soße extra in einem kleinen Kunststoff Behälter und der Rest im umweltfreundlichen Karton.

Im Gegensatz zu der wahnsinnigen Konkurrenz, in Thannhausens Gastronomie überangebot, wird hier noch wert auf die Garnierung und den optischen Eindruck des essens gelegt. Die Pommes und die Kroketten waren knusprig und das Fleisch des Cordon Bleu super gut. Der Burger sah sehr gut aus und war üppig belegt. auch das Patty war On Point gegrillt und super saftig ( das spricht für die gute Fleischqualität)

Ich freue mich auf die Biergarten Saison, hier werde ich definitiv wieder essen gehen.

On our way to Garmisch our kids were hungry and I found this place using Google. Eric, the owner, was an amazing host. The food and atmosphere were very relaxing and parking was convenient. Their burgers are all handmade and so good and be sure to try the croquettes with cream sauce! They even had games and things for the kids to do! I’m so happy we found this place to break up...
