Uplengener Hof — Restaurant in Uplengen

well, first of all, the address is wrong. This restaurant/ hotel is not in Leer but in Uplengen-Remels, my home town. I just came back to Remels for a visit and brought a friend from Italy. Our last evening there, we went out to dinner with my family and chose the 'Uplengener Hof'. I had eaten here many times before, but for my friend everything was new. It just so happened that this was the first evening they offered the traditional 'Snirtje' roasts. Pork that is only offered in the colder season of the year. It is traditionally served with potatoes, red cabbage and a variety of pickled vegetables like pumpkin, red beets and cucumber. Also canned plums and pears compliment this traditional Northern German dish. We were very happy with the quality of food and will be back!! Grüße...

Während meiner mehrtägigen Fahrradtour hatte ich das Vergnügen, in diesem wunderbaren Restaurant Halt zu machen, und ich kann nur Positives berichten! Die Speisekarte bot eine beeindruckende Auswahl an Gerichten, die nicht nur frisch und schmackhaft waren, sondern auch mit viel Liebe zubereitet wurden.

Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Qualität der Zutaten – man merkt sofort, dass hier Wert auf Regionalität und Frische gelegt wird. Jedes Gericht war ein Genuss und hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen.

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist einfach unschlagbar! Für die hohe Qualität der Speisen sind die Preise mehr als fair. Es ist selten, dass man so köstliches Essen zu solch angemessenen Preisen findet.

Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant war einladend und freundlich, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer machte. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend, was den Besuch zu einem rundum schönen Erlebnis machte.

Ich kann dieses Restaurant jedem empfehlen, der auf der Suche nach hervorragendem Essen und einem tollen Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist. Es war definitiv ein Highlight meiner Fehnroute...
