Terrible! Be careful they cheat! The young blonde waitress wanted to deceive me. My husband and one of our friends in particular absolutely love this place. I'd never had Greek food until coming to Germany and I was pleasantly surprised my first time here. The gyros are a collective favorite as are the Zeus and Trikala platters. My personal faves are the Metaxa dishes which come in a really good baked cheesy sauce, and I recommend trying the specials if you become a regular. As long as you like pork, chicken and lamb this is the restaurant for you. Erster Besuch nach der Neueröffnung war bereits bei der Ankunft eine Herausforderung. Die Treppen ohne Geländer (dass das überhaupt zugelassen ist) in winterlichen Verhältnissen sind eine Zumutung! Was dinnen auffällt: bei der Begrüßung gibt es ganz klar 3 Kategorien. Besucher, die bis zur Theke gehen und fragen, wo sich der reservierte Tisch befindet Personen, die bereits an der Türe per Handschlag begrüßt werden Gäste, die beim Eintreffen umarmt werden und dann nochmal einzeln von jeder Bedienung am Platz umarmt werden. Die Bedienungen laufen hintereinander her und verfolgen sich. Ein Konzept ist nicht auszumachen. Wir hatten an diesem Abend ALLE Bedienungen an unserem Platz. Das hat zur Konsequenz, dass man entweder 3mal hintereinander gefragt wird, ob man noch etwas möchte obwohl schon bestellt wurde oder man 20 Minuten wartet, bis die "Läufergruppe" wieder am Platz vorbeikommt. Das Ambiente ist modern, große Fenster und dementsprechend kühl. Leider nicht das, was man von einem griechischen Restaurant erwartet. Das sollte eher gemütlich, warm und rustikal sein - dies ist aber Geschmackssache. Das wichtigste - das Essen, deshalb geht man ja hin: Die Portionen haben alle an Größe verloren und ohne Vorspeise wird man kaum satt. Je früher man kommt, um so eher hat man noch eine Chance auf ein knuspriges Gyros. Ansonsten sind die Fladen eher blass und leider auch geschmacklos. Vor allem die Fischgerichte sind um einiges kleiner geworden und die Würze fehlt an allem. Fazit: Schade, war mal sehr gut an der alten Stelle, hat aber viel an Geschmack und Quantität verloren. Hoffentlich wird es mit der Zeit wieder besser - dann bekommt man vielleicht auch beim Gratis-Ouzo wieder ein volles...
