Very friendly, family-owned hotel and restaurant in quiet high street. Found it late in the day but happily welcomed without any reservation. Excellent veal schnitzel, good choice of local wines by the glass, friendly service, some English spoken - everyone tries in a good-natured way - and we tourists can have a crack at our German without getting the frosty stare. Sit by the rear windows for sweeping views. Probably quite a decent hotel too, but we stayed up the road at the bizarrely named Hotel U-No1 - probably the wrong call in terms of Gemutlichkeit. Read moreThis is a small hotel set in a little village. There is ample free car parking. Our room, on the second floor was very spacious and had a good view. Everything was quiet at night until the church bells, not opressive, sounded early in the morning.||||There is a restaurant serving good food and with a nice outside seating area in good weather.||||Some, but not all, of the staff speak English.
