Kniebishütte — Restaurant in Vereinbarte Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Freudenstadt

We came here for lunch after enjoying the snow outside. The venue has a great athmosphere, and out waiter was extremely friendly and helpful. I wish every waiter was just half that enthusiastic in their work as he was! 🌟

We tried Knödel and schwäbische lentils, they were all very tasty. The hütte has also a separate menu for children, that contains also puntsch that was just perfect to warm up a bit after tge chilly weather outside.

The hut and food was great but my partner having a rapeseed allergy is always a battle. We asked what ingredients were in the cake, as many bakers use softend butter which contains rapeseed oil, despite the menu stating to ask we were told she had no idea they were bought in. We stopped here on our way to the Schwarzwaldhochstraße for a bathroom break and ended up having lunch. I had the goulash and an extra order of sausage+potato salad. Both were good, especially the refreshing cucumber potato salad! My sister got the homemade meatballs with mushroom gravy, and wow! That was amazing.
