Nice, cozy room. Not big, but definitely adequate, if you don't mind sitting either on the bed or at the desk. There is no chair, although I guess you could sit on the cushioned luggage holder. For us, there was enough space to just sit, relax, and talk. But barely. There were built-in USB ports at the desk, as well as a spare outlet for charging a computer while sitting in front of the desk. The staff was super! The lady who checked us in was really nice and helpful. The breakfast near the reception desk was really quite good, and included with the croom. Of course, it was also quite German (bread, rolls, sliced meats and cheeses, juice, etc.). It was one of the better breakfasts we had during our time in Aalen. But while we are on the subject of food, there is no way we cannot talk about the hotel restaurant next door. We are vegetarian and sometimes find it difficult to find good vegetarian food. Even though there were only three vegetarian entrees, the two we ordered were among the best vegetarian food we have eaten. I strongly suspect the meat meals were equally outstanding. Elevator. Large bathroom. Opportunity to buy cold drinks from a refrigerator at the reception and the breakfast room also served as a "lounge". Restaurant next door for the evening's dinner, smooth.
