Hotel is located in a small village in the fields. Free parking nearby. ||Room was big enough. Light could be a little bit better but still acceptable. Strange smell inside the room, may be some chemicals, not very nice. Big terrace with entrance from the room even though terrace is not separate and your neighbors have access to the same terrace, absolutely no privacy. ||Bathroom and shower was good but no bathroom amenities (shampoo, shower gel, etc.), only liquid soap.||Wi-fi connection was acceptable but a little bit too slow.||Breakfast was awful, really. Absolutely poor choice, undrinkable coffee (ask for the coffee from the machine, a little bit better but still under the limit). Frankly speaking this was the worse breakfast I met in Germany countryside guesthouses, never imagined it could be like this. ||Staff is not friendly and welcoming. ||Guesthouse got restaurant, I had dinner here and regret to inform you that my schnitzel was absolutely dry. ||All in all I would not recommend this hotel for anyone and please think twice before choosing this location either for your...

We stayed for one night here and had evening meal at the hotel. Booking direct with the hotel was easy, it was free cancellation up to 18.00 on the day of arrival. The cost for B & B was very reasonable at 110 Euros. The room was a decent size, had a balcony, and those wonderful shutters that kept out all the light so you had a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was excellent with lots of different meats/cheeses/breads of offer. Boiled/fried eggs were also offered and cooked fresh. The hotel was very busy in the evening but we manged to get a table outside – for a hotel seemingly in the sticks it had a large clientele. The evening meal was excellent, I had one of the Spargel dishes (asparagus - in season then), husband the Sweinebraten. I drank Grauburgunder - very good - hubbie had a local wheat beer. All the staff were very calm, welcoming and friendly. We would definitely stay again, as there is so much to see in the area, and Nördlingen on the ‘Romantic Road’ is not far away, so you can have your fix of cobbled streets, town...
