A Hidden Gem Worth the Journey - even twice!

Tucked away in the middle of nowhere in Germany, this restaurant is a true hidden gem. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the peaceful, almost zen-like atmosphere that made us feel instantly relaxed and welcome. We first stumbled upon it last year while staying at the nearby hotel and were so impressed that we made a point to return — and it was just as wonderful the second time around.

The food? Absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and bursting with flavor. You can tell the ingredients are top quality and that the kitchen puts genuine care into everything they serve.

Service was just as impressive. The staff was warm, attentive, and thoughtful — a rare combination. A particularly kind gesture stood out: the waiter brought our 5-year-old’s pizza out with our starters, without us even asking. It was such a small but meaningful detail that made the experience all the more enjoyable for our family.

During our stay in Dimas Hotel, we had the pleasure of dining at Jackys Glashaus not once, but four times, and each visit was fantastic. The warmth and professionalism of the staff made every meal a delightful experience. Their attentive service, coupled with their genuine friendliness, made us feel right at home.

The culinary offerings are simply outstanding. Each dish we was a masterpiece, showcasing the chef's skill and dedication to quality. From the perfectly cooked entrees to the delectable desserts, every bite was a testament to their commitment to excellence.

We were so impressed that we kept coming back, and each visit only solidified our admiration for this wonderful restaurant.

Wir sind hier zum Muttertag hergekommen um ein schönes Muttertagsessen zu haben. Also erstmal zum Ambiente, dass Glashaus finde ich super schick, es ist sehr modern und hochwertig ausgestattet, da gibt es nicht zu meckern.

Auch hatten wir einen wirklich coolen Sitzplatz, etwas am Ende vom Glashaus weiter weg vom Geschehen. Persönlich fande ich das besser, da hatte wir mehr unsere ruhe auch mit unserer kleinen Tochter. ;-)

Der Service war super der Kellner der uns bediente war immer sehr freundlich und hat auch immer mit unserer kleinen Tochter gewitzelt, es war einfach liebevoll :-)

Zum Essen und das ist das was ich als knackpunkt sehe. Wir hatten den Antipasti Vorspeisen Teller für 2 Personen dieser machte 9€ p.p. Dieser hat mir wirklich sehr gut geschmeckt, jedoch ist dieser so dermaßen reichlich, dass ich danach im Grunde genommen satt war für den Hauptgang. Da aber ein bisschen Wartezeit zwischen der Vorspeise und dem Hauptgang war, konnte sich das Essen setzten und ich habe noch etwas von meinem Hauptgang essen können.

Jetzt zu meinem Hauptgang ich habe die Ochsenbacke mit Risotto und gegrilltem Gemüse bestellt für 24€. Da ich Risotto noch nie probiert habe, habe ich gedacht heute teste ich das mal. Die Ochsenbacke war super Zart und sehr lecker, dass Risotto hingegen war gar nicht mein fall. Würde ich mir auch so nicht mehr bestellen, Risotto schmeckt mir einfach nicht. Das Rumpsteak und der Spargel meiner Mutter war ganz fein, wobei das Steak eher durch war als Medium und für 28€ erwarte ich schon eine gewisse Qualität. Die Garnelen mit Pasta von meiner Frau waren sehr fein, jedoch 21€ auch hier etwas happig. Ich tue mich echt schwer da mich das Essen so gar nicht überzeugt hat, für diese Preise erwarte ich eigentlich top Qualität umso mehr ärgert mich es das es sehr teuer war. :-( Eventuell ist der Brunch oder Pizza eher was wo man richtig liegt.

Das Ambiente holt auf jedenfall einiges raus, die Toiletten sind super modern und sehr sauber, jedoch hat das Essen mich gar nicht überzeugt, das bedauere ich sehr.
