We chose this location for our 3-night stay in the Black Forest due to its relative isolation from bigger settlements, but still being central. We got exactly just that!||The house is on a hillside surrounded by nothing, but forest and beautiful fields with dark horses and big Galloways - belonging to the host with a farm down the road.||Frau Brünemann (our host) was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was nice with a balcony and view to one of the hills. The bathroom was very small, but we knew that in advance, so we managed.||The only inconvenience was a family checking in on our second night, as there was endless running up and down the stairs and child screaming, which went on until roughly midnight.||Nevertheless, the other night were quiet and pleasant, and overall we were absolutely happy and satisfied with everything. Combined this tranquility and friendliness with a price of EUR 70 per night (incl. breakfast), you cannot get a better deal really. Read moreWe stayed with another family and took up the entire pension! It was well decorated with a cool interior. The bathrooms were small but functional. The kids (ages 12-18) loved the farm surroundings. They loved the highland cows and could have stayed on the balcony watching them all night. They also watched the cats and chickens. The horses were beautiful too! We had a dinner here with wonderful goulash and schnitzel.We also shared slices of all 3 of her amazing homemade desserts. ||||There are many trails in the area and we took a beautiful hike at sunset from the farm.||||We enjoyed the breakfast the next morning with homemade jellies, tasty rolls, fresh hard boiled eggs, meats and cheeses.||||We only stayed one night but the kids requested that we stay a few...
