Back after 2 years, the baked goods are still delightful. The cakes are well balanced, light and airy where it should be, cheesecake had the right textures and flavor was balanced not too sweet. The stand out for me are their pretzels... It is a deceivingly simple item, but theirs is just fluffy on the inside with right tad of crunch on the outside. Salt was not overpowering and brings out the flavor of the dough. It's like entering your grandma's bakery. While we were there, many regular customers came in to pick up their favourites. We ordered the Black Forest cake to-go, and out of the three places we’ve tried, this one is by far the best. Not only did it taste the best, but it was also the most affordable. The base featured a thin biscuit layer topped with a delicate chocolate coating. The chocolate cake layers were perfectly moist, and the cherries had a pleasant, lightly fermented flavor with just the right hint of alcohol.
