5+5 Stars. This place was amazing. When we checked in iirenea greeted us and informed us of things to do. Room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. All the linen and towels were crisp and clean. When we were leaving we asked about dinner. I told her my wife wanted Jagerschnitzel. It was not on the menu and she said she could make it. We came back and told her we would be back in 30 min. for dinner. They were waiting for use when we got down and had a table reserved for us. Took our drink order and brought out the salad. We have stayed at the Eiche nearly every year since 1986 and have been delighted to note that the very high standards we experienced at the start have continued. This year, as usual, we received a very warm welcome. Our rooms, like the rest of the hotel, were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We dined at the Eiche and were delighted at the variety of drinks and dishes available. Everything we tried was delicious. All the staff were very friendly, pleasant and helpful. This beautiful little guest house was amazing! Friendly people, delicious breakfast brought straight to our table, more then what we could eat. Very quiet and romantic and perfect for the last part of our honeymoon! Close to the train station to walk, with the bus stop right out front, and to top it off, they have a guest pass for the local transportation which allowed us to explore and do so much.
