Restaurant Blickwinkel — Restaurant in Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Konstanz

We visited as a family - 2 adults and 7 kids - and sat a table that was plenty big enough for us for our evening meal. The kids enjoyed playing at the playground and water play while we waited for food and we enjoyed being able to visit the beach afterwards. The food portions were HUGE, so everyone was very satisfied. The burgers and spaghetti Bolognese were all delicious. My wife had the Pikeperch in white sauce, which was unfortunately under seasoned. The staff and kitchen did their best to offer seasoning options, but it didn't really hit the spot and was a disappointing dish. Our advice with this dish is to season generously during cooking, as it could be totally delicious - on the positive front, as with the other dishes, the portion size was really generous, packed full of vegetables and a large fish fillet. Overall, we had a pleasant visit, with a good view of the lake, and enjoyed being able to go down to the lake for a swim afterwards (though the gatehouse charged us for a full day entry - nothing to do with the Blickwinkel...

Unfortunately a bad experience. The same thing happened to us as several others already have written in reviews. While the signs and the website indicate 9pm as closing time for the kitchen, we arrived around 8pm and got no more food. Big disappointment. While totally in disbelief, and having no food at the camping, we tried to talk to the staff but no help was to be expected. The explanation we got was absolutely not convincing. The reviews about the food may be very good, but this does not really help if you don’t get any. I would advice camping customers to always have a backup plan when counting on the restaurant for dinner, as the manager confirmed they can close anytime...

Ein absoluter Lieblingsort am Untersee! Der Blickwinkel überzeugt jedes Mal aufs Neue mit durchgehend guter Qualität, tollem Service und einer traumhaften Lage direkt am wunderschönen Untersee des Bodensees.

Selbst heute zur Ferienzeit haben wir mittags spontan einen Tisch bekommen und mussten keine 10–12 Minuten auf unser Essen warten – wirklich top! Die Getränke kommen immer prompt, und das gesamte Team ist freundlich und aufmerksam.

Besonders für Familien ist der Blickwinkel ein echter Geheimtipp: Der riesige Spielplatz gehört zwar zum angrenzenden Campingplatz, darf aber auch von Restaurantgästen genutzt werden – perfekt, wenn man mit Kindern unterwegs ist und entspannt essen möchte, während die Kleinen beschäftigt sind.

Ob für ein gemütliches Mittagessen, einen Kaffee mit Aussicht oder ein Abendessen bei Sonnenuntergang – hier stimmt einfach alles. Wir kommen immer wieder...
