Indian Palace Restaurant — Restaurant in Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Leutkirch im Allgäu

This was hands down one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had — and that’s saying something.

We entered the restaurant expecting a decent meal and were instead met with arrogance, deception, and outright racism from the owner himself. After selecting a dish priced at €10, we were pressured into ordering a €15 alternative, with the owner claiming it had a “much larger portion.” What arrived was laughably small — significantly smaller than the original option. When we calmly asked why, the owner refused to explain, became aggressive, and had the audacity to tell us to leave if we didn’t like the food.

But the worst part? He went on to say, “All Indians are like this.” A shockingly racist and disgusting comment, especially coming from someone who runs an Indian restaurant. The fact that this was said in front of my parents made the experience even more humiliating. That level of ignorance and disrespect is not just unacceptable — it’s vile.

Avoid this place at all costs. The food is mediocre at best, the service is rude beyond belief, and the attitude is shameful. There are plenty of excellent Indian restaurants run by people who actually understand hospitality. This is definitely not one of them.
