The rose hotel is located in Nussbach, a farming village outside of Oberkirch. We had our difficulties to find the hotel without Navi. ||The rooms in the main building are spacious, rustically furnished and offered a good comfort.The bathroom is equipped with a shower stall. Room and the bathroom both were spotless clean. W_LAN worked perfectly. ||The breakfast was richly garnished with many regional quality products. Dinner is served in the nicely decorated dining room. The food freshly prepared and tasty, therefore the rather long waiting time explained. The portions are generous and the prices fair. The restaurant is popular with local guests. ||The hosts are committed to the well-being of the guests. If little things like missing the missing soap bar and the shower gel together with the absence of the usual complementary bottle of mineral is corrected, then the service is perfect. ||To get to the hotel guest must have their own vehicle. We stayed for two nights on our way home and to visit Europa Park.|We did get lost on our way to the hotel but this was mainly down to road closures nearby.||The room was big and well equipped, although rather dated. The shower doors were hard to close and water leaked from the shower. There was a nasty crack in the sink side but seemed to be ok. There was a drain issue in the bathroom which kicked up quite a smell but as we weren’t there much we just closed the door.||There were no curtains in our room, just netting, not sure if we were missing these or if this is standard. Luckily wasn’t really overlooked in our room.||There was no aircon in the room so it was rather warm but not too much of an issue for when we stayed.||Breakfast was nice and very typical (cheese, bread, meats, yogurts, fruit etc).||However, despite the few niggles, the room and hotel were very clean throughout.||Beds were comfortable.||Staff were friendly and overall wasn’t bad for a...
