We have been staying with Hubert and family at Hotel Kreuz for over 10years and we have never been disappointed.||The village is small but Oberkirch, a busy small town with a weekly market, is just a ten minute scenic river walk or short drive away. There is a superb open air pool there in well tended parkland with a onsite Café. Strasbourg and Offenburg and other cities are within short drives so it's ideally situated. Even bus tours leave from the nearby Verkesampt.||Hotel Kreuz has authentic Black Forest cuisine and coupled with a real variety of food at breakfast satisfies any hunger. We always take half pension and have always been delighted by the quality and quantity of food. Bedrooms are spacious and well looked after with good bed linen and towels. We have visited the Busam family hotel for over 15 years both as a family; with friends and individually and have never been disappointed with the quality of the stay, the welcome received and the excellent food. You cannot beat it for value for money and a friendly welcome. The bedrooms are both comfortable and well equipped; those with balconies have table and chairs. The breakfasts are truly excellent and traditional fare is served at lunch and dinner. Lautenbach is just outside Oberkirch which has a wonderful Friebad and good shops and cafes. There is a local train which is reasonably priced and covers a fairly wide area. The Church bells can be obtrusive but at least you always know the time. There is an outside beer garden which also...
