Vesperstube to Fiese Michel — Restaurant in Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Oberkirch

We had a reservation at this beautiful place following a 10km hike. Very traditional and super cute. They have a nice and concentrated menu card which I really like, I hate having tons of different options for food to be honest. I like restaurants that focus on a few things made well.

This was definitely a five star experience - but not because of my own food 😅😂 I actually did not like what I ordered. I was battling between schnitzel which I always get, Maultasche and Frikadellen. I wanted frikadellen, but two people at my table ordered that and the last had maultasche and I wanted to try a bit of everything, so I ordered the viervor-whatever dish

Honestly I regret that so much. I have been on a lot of hikes in the Black Forest and they all have so nice food, and Fissemikkel is definitely not an exception, but my dish was not nice. Generally I don’t like wurstsalat, I find it a bit repulsive but i wanted to try it again. Then there is the bohnen-salat. Nothing wrong with it, just a bit boring. Then there was bratkartoffeln which is of course always good, and lastly this quark kinda thing with fruits in it. I mean it just didn’t work for me, too many different but equally stale dishes.

My girlfriend had the frikadellen however, and I got to try a bit of that and man that was so so tasty. Perfectly seasoned and the bratensauce was equally amazing. Also got to try the maultasche and I also found that to be really great, I liked the touch with the crispy onions on top for a bit of texture change.

So yeah 5 star experience but not because of my own food, next time I come back and order the frikadellen for...

J avais repéré l endroit dans le cadre d une randonnée. La carte de menu est simple ce qui évite l attente lors de la commande

Points positifs J ai pu réserver le matin en appeler vers 9h30. J étais contente de pouvoir le faire afin de bloquer une table. Le chalet est magnifique (voir les photos) Le service est assez rapide pour trois couverts (environ. 20 min en arrivant à midi) Le personnel est sympathique. L'établissement dispose d'un bel espace w-c également ce qui est étonnant dans un endroit reculé comme celui là

Niveau gustatif: Dans l ensemble cela était correct. Toutefois l' apéritif maison à la liqueur de fruits des bois.. trop léger en liqueur. Le plat spaetzle fromage... C était assez sec au fond surtout, une sauce crémeuse au fromage plutôt qu un fromage type gruyère rapé aurait été préférable

Les quantités sont très généreuses. Si vous mangez peu, prenez plutôt la portion plus petite

Les tarifs sont corrects surtout les parts de déserts

Le pot de glace façon tarte aux pommes de grand mère était excellent quoiqu un peu cher quand même pour 3€...

Wir gingen seit vielen Jahren gerne hier her, waren jetzt einige Zeit nicht da und heute hat es uns gar nicht gefallen. Die Preise für Speisen und Getränke haben deutlich angezogen, sind jetzt eher auf Restaurant- als auf Versperstubenniveau. Bratkartoffeln waren hart und trocken, erscheinen uns wie aus der Fritteuse (was auf Nachfrage verneint wurde); Wurstsalat, Bohnen und Bibbeleskäse deutlich geschmacksärmer als wir es in Erinnerung hatten, gleiches beim Beilagensalat. Fazit: Preis- Leistung stimmt für uns nicht mehr, wir werden wohl nicht...
