Stayed just one night during Baselworld, but found the hotel very comfortable and rooms well decorated in standard Germanic style. It was nice to have tea and coffee facilities in the room as an added extra.||The restaurant offers a good choice of standard Germanic dishes at reasonable price and good quality. Some may consider this a negative, but if visiting Germany occasionally, this hotel offers good regional food. The one small negative is that drinks service can be slow until the staff get used to recognising wishes.||Breakfast also offers a good continental selection plus a few hot dishes, however juices, including orange are bottled and served as such.||The hotel is located in a small village part way up a hill, offering good views, a good location for walking and resting. Like many others however, the prices are increased to take advantage of visitors to Basel world. Had the price per night for a single room been the standard price, this hotel would not be worth the money, however at its regular prices, it is a good location for sightseeing...
