2PM Restaurant — Restaurant in Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Rottenburg am Neckar

I recently dined at this sushi restaurant and had mixed feelings about my experience. While the food was absolutely excellent, I was quite disappointed with the service and cleanliness. Therefore, I have decided to give it a two-star rating.

Let's start with the positive aspects. The sushi served here is very delicious and made with high-quality ingredients. The freshness and presentation of the dishes were truly impressive.

However, I must address some concerns regarding the service and cleanliness. Firstly, when we were seated at our table, it was not properly cleaned. There were food crumbs and stains from the previous guests. Additionally, my glass was visibly dirty with smudges and fingerprints, indicating a lack of attention to detail in the cleaning process. Furthermore, I observed that the serving staff did not use trays when bringing out the dishes. Instead, they carried multiple plates in their hands, which seemed unprofessional and increased the risk of accidents or dropped plates. While these issues may seem minor, they collectively contributed to a sense of neglect and subpar service. When dining at a high class restaurant, cleanliness and attention to detail are essential for a pleasant and hygienic experience.

Edit: It is my favourite restaurant in Rottenburg. I will prefer eating here to eating at any Asian Restaurants in Tübingen/ Reutlingen/ Stuttgart. So far, the best Asian Restaurant that I have been to in Germany ( taste-wise).

Their food is amazing. I highly recommend people to come and dine in here.

Only disadvantage here is that they don’t accept cards. Though there is a Geldautomat right next to it.

Japanisches Restaurant in Rottenburg – versteckt, aber geschmacklich ganz groß

Wer sagt, dass man für gutes japanisches Essen nach Stuttgart oder Tübingen fahren muss, hat Rottenburg wohl unterschätzt – oder dieses charmante Restaurant noch nicht entdeckt. Zugegeben, die Lage ist nicht gerade „Fußgängerzonen-Gold“, aber wer sich nicht vom Navi abschrecken lässt, wird mit einem kleinen kulinarischen Kurzurlaub belohnt.

Mittags eingekehrt, hungrig und neugierig, haben wir uns durch eine Auswahl an Vorspeisen gekostet – und was soll ich sagen: geschmacklich top, optisch liebevoll angerichtet, und das Hühnchen war erfreulicherweise nicht die trockene Variante aus dem Lehrbuch „Wie man Fleisch ruiniert“. Nein, hier war’s saftig, zart und mit einer Sauce, die nicht einfach nur dabei war, sondern wirklich passte. Fast wie ein gut abgestimmtes Duett.

Die Einrichtung? Dezent japanisch, ohne in die Origami-Kitsch-Falle zu tappen. Man fühlt sich wohl, ohne das Gefühl zu haben, man müsse gleich einen Kimono anziehen. Der Service? Freundlich, aufmerksam und angenehm unaufdringlich – also genau so, wie man es sich wünscht, wenn man nicht nur essen, sondern auch entspannen will.

Fazit: Wer mittags Lust auf leichte, geschmackvolle japanische Küche hat und sich nicht von einer etwas versteckten Lage abschrecken lässt, sollte hier definitiv mal reinschauen.
