Andi´s Steakhüsli — Restaurant in Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Schopfheim

My German colleague claimed that this is the best steak he'd ever had, I would agree 👍💯

Situated in the town of Hausen, Andi's Steakhouse offers more than just steak 🥩, but a comforting food.

I ordered fillet 350g, with "very hot pepper sauce with black and green peppers (per the menu said 😁), OMG, this is really one of the best fillet mignon I've ever had after traveling countless countries.

Not just my medium rare was perfectly cooked, but the pepper sauce is one of the best steak sauce I've ever had, it's not really hot to an Asian, but it surely is well blended with spices.

Let's say "it will refresh you" the moment you put the slice of steak into your mouth.

Strongly recommend to order Creamy Spinach as the side, the creamy texture is a perfect combination to your peppered steak.

The only irritation: Internet access is free, but crappy: WiFi only, some of the Access Points disconnect for no apparent reason, you have to jump through several hoops to get online (WPA password, then a 24-hour access ticket with a username and password, meaning that before you can go online with say, your laptop, you need to disconnect your other devices - say, your smartphone), the speed is not very good (5.8 MiB/s down/ 0.61 MiB/s up), and - schocker! - they play dirty with DNS. Das Restaurant können wir nicht bewerten, da wir außerhalb einfach köstlichst beim Griechen HERMES gegessen haben. Das Zimmer an sich war groß, sauber- allerdings kaputtes Licht über dem Schrank, die Kopfkissen völlig billig und unbrauchbar , Bad großzügig und sauber ACHTUNG… Hotel ist ein ARBEITER HOTEL! Dh. ab morgens um 6uhr geht’s rund: Türen schlagen, Haustür knallt, Tür zum Frühstückszimmer knallt-die Ruhe ist vorbei! Außerdem sehr laut, da an einer Hauptstraße gelegen. Der SCHÖNE AUSBLICK vom Balkon: auf ein usseliges Haus mit Müll und Mülltonnen… Der WELLNES BEREICH wohl seit Corona nicht mehr aktiv…. Darauf wird man auf der Homepage auch nicht aufmerksam gemacht! Wir hatten unseren Hund dabei, das Zimmermädchen klopfte halb 10h an der Tür, sah den Hund…flüchtete mit den Worten „abe Angst“ und ward nie mehr gesehen-am Tag der Abreise (nach 2 sehr unruhigen Nächten) standen 2 Zimmermädchen vor der Tür und fragten ob wir neue Handtücher brauchen???? Das Restaurant ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen und gehört generalüberholt! Aber gut … wer sowas mag?! Das Frühstück war um 9h zu Ende, aber da man eh sehr frühzeitig GEWECKT wurde, war das halt so. Frühstück eher einfach gehalten, aufbackbrötchen, am 2. Tag wurde um halb 9 nichts mehr aufgefüllt, man durfte sich an den Resten bedienen! Und der ganze Raum wurde für den nächsten morgen schon wieder eingedeckt-nicht sehr gemütlich!!! Und um 8.55h wurde das Buffet wieder abgeräumt…. Also alles in allem hat es uns nicht gut gefallen in dieser Unterkunft… es gibt für den Preis...
