DeSi Steakhouse — Restaurant in Verwaltungsverband Hohenloher Ebene

The restaurant was pretty empty to be a Saturday evening and I found the choice of main dishes very small. The service was fine but the food quality was really unsatisfactory.

The "Rinderfilet Carpaccio" I ordered as a started was really laking flavor, not even adding extra salt and pepper I could fix it. My partner, ordering the same, had the same opinion.

The "Paella" I order as a main dish was the poorest attempt I have ever seen of a paella. It totally laked flavor and was in no way similar to a real Spanish paella. As a Spanish person, I was not expecting to get one as if I was in Spain but I thought they would be able to present something decent. I was wrong.

I was there with 5 persons more and 4 of them complained about how dry the meat of their main dish was. One in particular could eat only half of the dish as he was not motivated to finish it, so dry the "Schnitzel" was.

To myself and my colleagues surprise, this is not a Steakhouse and has not been for years according to the staff. I dont recall there even being beef on the men(dont quote me).

Wir haben hier an einem Sonntag im November 2023 zu zweit eine wunderbare Zeit gehabt mit toller Aussicht, sehr guten Essen und in einer angenehmen ruhigen Atmosphäre. Der Speisesaal war sauber und edel eingerichtet, das Servicepersonal freundlich, hilfsbereit und professionell. Wir wurden schnell bedient und hatten keine langen Wartezeiten, allerdings hatten wir einen Tag erwischt bzw. eine Uhrzeit, an den nur wenige Tische besetzt waren.

Die Speisekarte wurde und in Form eines Tablet überreicht und war insgesamt sehr überschaubar, d.h. insgesamt konnten wir aus einer Auswahl von ca. 15 Speisen wählen, was sicher nicht jedem taugt. Ich fand es sehr gut und wir sind beide schnell fündig geworden.

Absolute Empfehlung, wenn es mal ein besonderes Restaurant sein soll. Die Rechnung für 2 Personen über knapp 70 Euro habe ich gerne gezahlt. Es ist kein...
