Is it really 3 stars ?||||The reception upon arrival was not exactly friendly, maybe a cool reception would be most apt. We felt we were a bit of a burden on the hotel staff and though the buffet breakfast is on offer from 7 - 9.30 am we were asked on arrival to specify at what time we would have breakfast and whether we would be drinking tea or coffee (why? I mean where's the extra effort?). The rooms were clean and tidy though not overly large with a mini-sized TV which matched the car park (max. 2 vehicles with a fair amount of shunting about). WLAN is available but, I believe, at extra cost (and there was no notice in the room advising of its availability). ||||The hotel restaurant has an excellent reputation (presumably why it has 3 stars) but unfortunately when we returned just after 10.30 pm the main door was locked and the bar and restaurant closed for the night although the hotel blurb specified the restaurant to be open until 10 pm and the bar until at least 11 pm. Though the staff were having a drink themselves in the bar, we were, to our surprise, advised to try the local pizzeria!!||||If you're looking for a sleepless night this is the place to go. The hotel is located less than 100 meters from the village church which not only chimes the hours but every single quarter throughout the night!! (don't most people have clocks, watches etc. in this area) ?||||So, after maybe 3-4 hours of sleep, we went down to breakfast where the rolls were crisp and fresh and the quality of the cheese and cold meats also good. Ein Abend, der alle Sinne verzauberte – ein kulinarisches Märchen✨

Gestern Abend durfte ich ein wahres Juwel der Gastronomie entdecken, ein Lokal, das nicht nur den Gaumen, sondern auch die Seele berührt. Gemeinsam mit meinem Geschäftspartner waren wir zu einem Geburtstagsfest eingeladen, und was uns dort erwartete, übertraf all unsere Erwartungen.

Schon beim Betreten des Lokals umfing uns eine Atmosphäre der Herzlichkeit und Gastfreundschaft, die ihresgleichen sucht. Das Personal empfing uns mit einem Lächeln, das von Herzen kam, und begleitete uns zu unserem Tisch, der mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingedeckt war.

Doch nicht nur der Service, sondern auch die Küche entpuppte sich als wahres Meisterwerk. Jeder Gang, vom kunstvoll angerichteten Salat bis hin zum exquisiten Dessert, war ein Fest für die Sinne. Die Speisen waren nicht nur von höchster Qualität, sondern auch mit einer solchen Eleganz und Kreativität zubereitet, dass man sich wie in einem kulinarischen Märchen fühlte.

Das Ambiente des Lokals trug sein Übriges dazu bei, diesen Abend unvergesslich zu machen. Die warme, einladende Atmosphäre, die stilvolle Einrichtung und die angenehme Beleuchtung schufen einen Rahmen, in dem man sich rundum wohlfühlen konnte.

Ich bin selten so begeistert von einem Lokal gewesen. Hier stimmt einfach alles: der erstklassige Service, die herausragende Küche und das wunderbare Ambiente. Ein Ort, an dem Gastfreundschaft noch großgeschrieben wird und an dem man sich als Gast wirklich willkommen fühlt.

Ich kann dieses Lokal jedem nur wärmstens empfehlen, der einen besonderen Abend in einem außergewöhnlichen Ambiente verbringen möchte. Hier werden nicht nur Speisen serviert, sondern Erinnerungen geschaffen.

An interrogation at the reception and a rude attitude could not have been worse. If we had had any choice we would have left then. The room was OK but the shower ran very hot and cold. They seemed most affronted that we did not want dinner after the 'welcome' but we got our own from the supermarket up the road. Breakfast provided the worst coffee ever tasted in Germany, off milk and other food that had been exposed far too long.
