Great fresh food in a relaxed and sociable atmosphere. Bring the whole family and guests along for the best value for money restaurant in the area. There's a huge car park and plenty of seating in and out but be prepared for a small wait on Friday evening and Saturdays.

The restaurant is at the centre of a complex of farm buildings on the outskirts of the little village of Fischingen. You can cycle there but most people travel by car unfortunately because of where it is situated. As well as the restaurant there are event rooms and a super farmshop for local vegetables, fresh cakes and wine amongst other things.

There are no reservations but you can always find a table or if it's really busy you may share with others or just wait a little. There's a great selection of local and seasonal meals and various choices for children. If you have space left there's a large selection of homemade cakes and ice-cream too. Been going here for at least 10 years - more or less since it opened. In the beginning, it was a fantastic place to meet people, enjoy good value for money food & nice atmosphere. Nowadays, you get good food very quickly but yes one feels a bit like you’ve been served- it’s done. But most staff are really friendly. In recent years, we have been trying to eat more plant based and were so happy to see a few vegan main meals offered. One thing I cannot understand & does not go with any trends in the world is the inability to offer any kind of plant/nut milk for coffee/ smoothie. If this were offered, it would turn around the breakfasts so easily - they could just offer Margarine instead of butter & there you go, a vegan breakfast or even an option of soya yogurt. Tap water - They should serve tap water (leistungswasser) which will help save environment by avoiding plastic bottled water.
